COMFORT

MICKEYS POV
after two bit drove off we walked to the fence with Dally  he opened it and closed it behind him.

"Broad was two timing me again why'll I was in jail" Dally  told us.

"I'm sorry dal " I said to him.

"Whatever it's cool" he replied.

"See you guys later" Dally  said running down the street.

After  a few minutes Darry came outside and told Pony boy  he had homework.

We went inside and me and pony sat at the kitchen table.

"Ok so what's your homework?"I asked my little brother.

" I have to write  an essay in English about someone who I look up to" pony told me.

"Well you could do me" I told him smirking.

"I actually like that idea" Pony told me.

After we worked for about one hour Pony was falling asleep on the table.

"Hey Pony  wake up" I said shaking him.

He sat up groggily.

"Hey Pony come on let's go upstairs to bed " I said to my brother.

"Ok"he said putting the paper in his backpack.

We both walked up to pony me and Soda's  room and saw Soda asleep in his bed.

I quickly changed into pajamas not caring if Pony saw he's my brother.

Pony changed also then me and him laid  together in bed in silence until I  spoke up.

"Pony?" I asked.

"Are you cold?" I questioned.

"A little" Pony responded.

I turned  towards him and hugged him around the shoulders from behind.

"Pony you know that when Darry yells at you he doesn't mean it he's just got a lot on his mind" I told pony.

"Yea sure"  pony mumbled.

"Hey it's true come on let's get some sleep" I said closing my eyes turning my back to Pony.

I woke up in the middle of the night to someone screaming.

I shot up and saw Pony shaking next to me.

"Hey Pony  shhh it's ok it's just a dream" I said why'll trying to comfort him.

He was sobbing and shaking I held his head in my chest pulling him closer to me.

"It felt so real" Pony sobbed.

Then I noticed Soda  was now up looking at us with concern.

"Hey what's wrong Pony " Soda asked kneeling down next to us.

"I had a dream about the day mom and dad died" Pony  said scared.

"Hey it's ok shhhhh it's ok were here now" I said comforting him and hugging him tight.

I moved over soSoda could join  me help Pony  sleep.
He wrapped his arms around Pony also.

Eventually we all feel asleep me and Soda both hugging Pony .

THE NEXT MORING STILL MICKEYS POV.

I woke up and noticed Pony  and Soda were still sleeping so I carefully got up without waking them up.

I decided to take a shower.

I went in the bathroom taking my clothes for today with me.

I locked the bathroom door when I got in the bathroom.

I got in and the warm water ran down my skin.
I was gonna make sure to bring up to Soda my concern on Pony.

I put conditioner and shampoo in my blond hair.
I also shaved and that stuff,

After I finished I got out and wrapped a towel around my body and blow dried my hair.

I put my outfit on which was a black shirt omand a pair of black leggings and a black leatherjacket dally got me.

And to top it off I put a black beanie  on.

Then I went in the room to see Ponyboy  and Soda still sleeping
I decided I would let them sleep and make breakfast today for everyone.

I walked downstairs and into the kitchen and started to make some eggs bacon and pancakes for everyone.

I was putting the food on each plate when Soda  came in looking tired.

"morning Sodapop " I said walking up to him and kissing his cheek.

"Morning Mickey ohhh this looks good" soda said.

"Hey is Pony up  yet" I asked.

"No" Soda  said.

"Soda I'm worried about him having nightmares " I told soda truthfully.

"It's ok I am too but we have to get him through these nightmares " Soda said to me.

"I'll go wake Pony up " I told Soda walking upstairs only to see pony getting dressed.

"Hey Pony how you doing today?" I asked him walking up to him and hugging him.

"I'm ok just a little shaken up from last night" Pony told me.

"It's ok I'm always here if you need me" I told him.

Pony wrapped his arms around my waist and said "I'm glad I have you as a sister" then putting his head in my shoulder.

"I'm glad too" I told him I loved these moments with my brothers.

"Let's go eat" I told Pony walking downstairs with him behind me.
