Chapter 7

Marinette's POV

Apparently, Kim called the cops and now we're being chased by my ex friends and police. Great. "Nathaniel and Chloe. I'm not the only one that is a merfolk. Adrien is, too. So, it will be easy for him to get to us. " I said. "Why didn't you tell us this before?" Chloe asked. "Because, it wasn't important then." I said. We finally reached the dock.

At the dock

Us three got to the dock. They jumped in but I got held back and pulled away. Kim pulled me away. "Leave me alone, Kim." I said calmly. "No. You don't deserve for me to leave me alone." Kim said. He lifter up my shirt a little so its showing the middle of my back. He grabbed my knife that was on the ground and cut my back into the letter K. I screamed bloody murder and started to cry. "Kim, stop! This is getting out of hand!" Adrien yelled. Alya started to cry while Nino was comforting her and crying himself. Kim kept cutting deeper. "STOP!!" Adrien yelled. Chloe and Nathaniel came running over and Chloe started to cry. Nathaniel hugged her. One of the officers, Officer Rose, I think it was, grabbed Kim and threw him to the ground. I could barely breath. Adrien ran over and hugged me. My back was bleeding so much. "Mari, stay with me. I am right here." Adrien said. "The water." Adrien got up and ran to the dock. He threw me in and I wasn't hurting anymore. Adrien, Chloe, and Nathaniel jumped in after. I hugged all of them. Alya and Nino were sitting on the dock whipping away their tears. "Guys, come join." I said. "We can't. We aren't merpeople." Alya said. "No need to worry." I said. I gave Alya a necklace with a fox on it and Nino a bracelet with a turtle on it. "Alya, Nino, would you be a part of our gang. The bad gang? No murder, no knives. Just ditching school, theft, etc. We can be together." I asked. They nodded. "These will help you turn into merpeople. Alya will be known as Volpina. Your mask will be orange with black around the edges, Nino will be known as Ouroboros. Your mask will be green." I said. I gave them their masks. "Why the masks?" Alya said. "So people won't know our identities." I said. They nodded. "What does my name mean exactly?" Nino asked. "Turtle. But, you'll just be called The Turtle." I said. He nodded and chuckled a little. They jumped in and they had tails. Alya had a black tail with an orange and black shell bra and Nino had a black tail.
