Prologue
I remember my days of happiness. My mom and dad, happily in love. We played and laughed together for long periods of time. Most people thought we were the "perfect family", they couldn't be more wrong.
October 12, 2010 that was the day I realized one mistake can change everything. I still don't understand what happened but it changed my life completely. I was only ten, and yet this day came and torn me apart completely. I could never remember all the details. but what I do remember, will stay in the back of my mind until the day I die.
"How could you do this! I thought you loved me! Why?!" My mom screamed as she bursted into tears.
"Honey! You don't understand! I didn't mean to!" My dad yelled back.
"Get the fuck out of here!" And just like that, without another word, my dad packed his bags and left. Taking all of my happiness with him.
