Chapter XVII: Attack not on titan

You were sitting at the cafe, drinking a coffee and waiting for Orochimaru to come back from the work. You weren't expecting him to get a job so quickly, but he managed to make a fake documents for himself, then sent snake to bit one science teacher and claimed his place. You weren't really surprised, he was godlike enough to manage that much in a short time in this world, where people could never get a clue that someone was able to control snakes like that. He was nearly invincible even in his world, full of powerful ninjas, of course he could totally own a hopeless place like real world if he wanted to. A sudden voice of a gunshot stopped your thoughts, you felt sharp pain in your leg and fell off your chair. You've felt someone drag you but you were too weakened to fight. Faint screams stopped as the group of masked people stuffed you into the car.

— Who are you? What do you want? — You asked.

— You have something we need.

— If you want money, I haven't... — You were kinda surprised, you suspected that your guest did a few more crimes and you were dragged because you were considered as his partner in crime, since you were seen together.

— We don't need money. We need a very precious object.

— Like what?

— The portal notebook.

— If you want notebooks you should attack stores, not me, — You've decided to play dumb but that would probably work as much as it worked with Orochimaru, when you met him first. „The portal notebook... so that's what it's called."

— Stop playing dumb, — Said one of the kidnappers, as if he answered your thought, — We heard that one scientist finished working on it and decided to steal, however when we kidnapped him, he said that he had lost it somewhere around certain area. We didn't really believe him, but still had our men watching that place, then we saw you with an anime character and waited for the time when you'd be alone.

— Damn, so his disguise failed.

— Yes, he looked exactly like himself on chunnin exams when he acted as team Dosu's Jōnin , just with a different clothing and hairstyle.

— Oh cool, so you watch Naruto too!

— Of course!

— Then you should know that you're risking your life.

— Tell me, who wouldn't risk life for obtaining the portal notebook? However we need to find it fast and ask characters to look after their slithery friend. Now, hand us the notebook!

— I don't have it; He has it, — You've laughed, — Good luck getting it.

— What?! But he trusts you, right? So you have a chance to steal it and give it to us, unless you want [YFM] to get hurt.

— What?! — The joy washed off your face in a blink. — You have my [FM]?!

— Not yet, but we will catch him/her in no time.

— Listen you jerks, you don't have a chance to get the notebook, you don't know who are you messing with. You're digging your own graves, that's all.

The car stopped.

— What happened? Why did we stop? We hadn't arrived yet.

— Something happened to wheels... — The driver get out of the car, — A weird star look–alike weapon things damaged wheels.

— Shurikens?! We're screwed! — Screamed the guy who was talking with you.

— Come on, if he has stariken things, we have guns, we're good.

— Shut up, you don't know what he's capable of!

— Whatever, we have a hostage as well.

— He's not the type to care about his comrades!

— What should we do th... — The driver fell down.

— John! No, damn it! — The kidnapper grabbed you and got out of the car, using you as a shield, — Listen, you probably don't care, but I have a hostage! Show yourself! Do not hurt me, I'll give you all lab inventory you'll need, I can be usef...

He fell down next to the driver, you've looked at remaining kidnappers in the car, just to see bloody mess. You've fell down on the pile of dead bodies, because your leg hurt.

— [Y/N]! Are you alright?! — Orochimaru appeared next to you, he looked worried. — I left for few hours and this happened... Your world sure is no less dangerous than mine.

— I'm fine, it's just a scratch... we need to get my [FM] before them... is notebook safe? They were after it...

— Do not talk, save your energy. I'll send you to hideout and catch up soon with [YFM]. I hope Karin is still there. — He pulled the notebook out of his pocket and quickly wrote the address of his hideout.

— I'm a disgrace to the sages, — You whined. — Mere kidnappers screwed me up like this. I don't deserve to be your wife.

— Don't say such things. You're hadn't trained too long and you were probably caught off guard. Overall don't say anything, until you'll arrive at hideout, then call Karin, understood? Only thing you're allowed to say is Karin's name. Now be quiet and try to get into the portal alone... or should I accompany you and then get back to your world?

— No, I'm fine by myself. Go, help my [FM]. Be careful. I can't lose neither you, notebook or my [FM]. You can handle this mission, right?

— I'll see you soon, my dear.

— Orochimaru...

— Quiet! get into the portal. — He slightly scolded you.

— We need to kill the scientist who invented portal notebook too and destroy data. That can be very dangerous if they'll make another, you see, some worlds have terrible things in them, we don't need them to be released and we do not need someone after us.

Sorry for the short chapter. I've lost two readers, not sure if they changed fandom or my writing is getting crappy, I'm in haste after all. How can some people forget the perfection like Oreo?! Geez! (╯ಊ╰) Also I changed story cover, I think it looks better. I'll try to finish this story as soon as possible, I'm dying to start Black Butler fanfic (based on manga, because anime already has tons of it) and I don't feel like writing 2 stories at the same time again, it was draining me when I was working on this one and the Creepypasta fanfic.
