Niall’s POV

I was home, well back to the flat I shared with the boys. I swung open the door and threw my keys on the side table. I kept seeing the way she looked under the stars, the wind in her hair and the smile which beamed across her face. She was beautiful.

“So what’s her name” Liam’s manly voice echoed out. I took a deep breath.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about” my smile giving away that my answer was a lie. Liam just seemed to smile more. He was my best friend he could tell if I was lying, and more importantly he could tell when I cared about something. He pouted at me a gave me the Liam eyes. I just laughed.

“Hayleigh” I whispered, hoping he didn’t hear me, but from his face I knew he had, “Hayleigh Rose”. Liam’s smirk grew larger as he stepped closer; he patted me on the back, “Well then Niall, sweet innocent Niall welcome to the world of girls”. I slapped his arm away and made my way to the kitchen.  I opened the fridge and Liam hopped up on the counter next to me. “What’s she like” he asked. I closed the fridge showing my face to Liam once more, the sigh left my lungs.

“She… She is amazing, she’s beautiful, caring and she well… she liked me for me and I don’t know how to describe it, have you ever felt like your lungs were going to explode because you just wanted to scream with happiness” Liam’s smile grew larger.

I felt a hand grab my hair and ruffle it “Aww Niall got a girlfriend” Harry chanted whilst Louis prodded my stomach with pokes, they are the biggest kids I swear. I fought for freedom and fell free from their grasp, “Shut up I do not” I blurted back my smile still intact.

The rest of the evening was very painful and resulted in having ‘the talk’, I’m not even a virgin I swear they do it to embarrass me. “So Niall when a man and a Women care about each other, they take off all their clothes and lie down together” Louis said, trying to hold back his laughter. I covered my face with my hands, knowing Harry’s would be worse. “Don’t have sex, because you will get pregnant and die.  Don’t have sex in the missionary position, don’t have sex standing up . . . Just don’t do it, promise?” The other boys in fits of laughter, rolling on the floor at Harry’s mean Girls quote. I just stood up and walked out, trying to take what little dignity I had left.
