"That was easy..." I say, nudging one of the guards with my toe.

"There are fifty of them total. If Sky took out two, and we took out two, that leaves about 46 guys. There's also the fact that twenty are out on missions, so that's 26 guys. That's manageable. We'll go from the outside in, taking the outer rooms, then the inner rooms. Both of us will start on opposite sides. Take out all of them, as few casualties as possible." Haku says.

"Got it!" I run off without another word and go into stealthy ninja mode, and slink through the base searching for victims.

Following the noise of chatter, I find a room of about seven men waiting around for something to do. They looked extremely bored, and ready for a pick me up. Good thing Haku decided to fill my bag with goodies! I take a second to think of which one to use, and decide on the sleep-drugged needles.

"Put the gloves on before you use them. We don't want you to fall asleep instead." I remember Haku saying to me as he told me how to use them. His hair was a little in his eyes then...

I put on the gloves, grinning to myself, and choose the three closest guys as my first targets. The needles whiz through the air and hit the designated targets spot on. They fall unconscious almost immediately, and I ran into the room as the other four take in what happened. One of them saw me and attempted to throw a kuuni, but I dodge and throw another sleep-inducing needle into his leg. As he falls, his friend makes a slash at me with his katana. It just barely misses me as I throw a water ball into his gut. Another needle follows right after the water ball.

"Five down, two to go" I say. At that moment, one of the men summons a fog into the room. When I could barely see a thing, I felt something behind me and step to the side. A huge hammer smashes into the ground where I had just been. A split second later, I feel another presence and jump up. I hear the swish of a chain scythe slice the air where I just was. Expecting the recoil, I take the head of the man holding the hammer and knock him unconscious with a knee to his temple. I hear the chain swish back to its owner, and hurtle myself in that direction, needle ready. He heard me coming and throws the chain to catch me in midair. I felt the metal wrap around my arm and drag me down to the floor, causing me to drop the needle.

"Oh hells no!" I yell, angry at having been caught. I turn that anger into making the chain heat up, glowing red all the way to the owner of the chain. A yelp of pain from him gave me the second I needed to pull the chain to me, grab the needle, and jab it into the chain master's arm. He fell to the ground with a thud, and the fog cleared. Footsteps could be heard coming down the hall, and I hid behind a conveniently placed couch. Four more men run into the room, weapons drawn.

"Wha-What happened hear?" one of them asks. Another notices the needles and points them out.

"They were knocked out using sleeping drugs." He says, and surveys the room. Footsteps draw nearer to my hiding place, and I am ready four more needles. I could probably get all of them in one go, if I use the element of surprise well. I prepare another kuuni with a bomb tag attached to it. Thunk thunk... the steps draw nearer.

"Maybe they left?" One of the men said, and the man walking towards me pauses.

I jump out and throw the kuuni in the middle of the men. It explodes on impact and the man closest is thrown off his feet into a wall. He gets both the wind and his consciousness knocked out of him. In the confusion, I knock out two more men with the needles, and search for the last one. But he wasn't in the room.

"Traitors! There are traitors among us!" I hear the man running down the hallway.

"Oops... Haku's gonna be mad at me..." I think, and chase after the run-away big mouth.

"Traitors! Trai- Agh!"

*THUD*

"..." I ran to where the man fell and see a person standing over the man's body.

"You can't keep one little punk quiet. That's kind of sad." Sky says, turning to me.

"Oh shut it! I was taking care of the five other guys," I pout. I walk back to the room with Sky, and count how many guys were lying in the room.

"Seems we got all of them. I can't feel any conscious people, except for Haku and Gato, and those two bodyguards of Gato's. We'll just barter with Gato for his freedom, and to get some cash out of this too. Maybe more then Zabuza was promised as pay. Then the Konoha people could also take these poor guys to prison," Sky says. She looks at me and motions to the whole room. "Could you perhaps turn this room into a cage? I'd much rather not bother moving them." Sky asks.

"Oh! Yeah, good idea," I say, and make a cage of stone all around the room; making sure to not lock Sky and I inside as well. "All done!"

"Good! Now let's go chit chat with Gato," Sky grins, looking as though she were ready to laugh at something gruesome. I roll my eyes and walked to where we felt Gato's chakra.

"Hey Luka!" Haku appears beside me. "Gato's ready for you, Sky."

"Thank you, Haku! I'll be a few minutes. Make yourselves comfortable as I have a little... business discussion with Gato," Sky says. She walks into a room, and closed the door.

"Gato seems to be too stubborn for me to deal with. Hopefully Sky can get us out of this mess. Maybe then we can have enough money to make Zabuza's dream come true." Haku says, leaning against the wall opposite of the door Sky had entered.

"What's his dream, again?" I ask, a little fuzzy on those details.

"To rule the Hidden Mist Village." Haku says, smiling at me. "A fine dream, is it not?"

"I've been there once. They didn't really like me there..." I grin at the memory of stealing bread. That's how all this started. I steal bread, and being taken in by Zabuza. "I'll have to thank Zabuza, when he's better," I say to myself.

"Why is that, Luka?" Haku asks, smiling as I join him by the wall.

"He took me in, and I was able to meet you," I smile, and hold his hand. It was warm and calloused, like my own.

"Then I should thank him too. For taking me in, giving me a purpose, and bringing you home to me," Haku says. He leans over and kisses my cheek. I blushed, and when Haku stands straight again, his cheeks also had a pink tint to them. We both wait in content silence, holding hands and waiting for Sky. Our bliss was interrupted by a loud THUD! We look at the door with confusion, but sense that nothing was wrong. Sky walks out a few minutes latter with two briefcases and I notice a flustered Gato sprawled out on the floor. I only caught a glimpse of his furious, awed gaze before Sky slammed the door shut.

"Let's get out of here. Zabuza still needs care, and I'm sure Yin and Yang are not the best medical specialists," Sky says, and noticed that Haku and I were still holding hands. "Oh, sorry for interrupting your little cuddle session."

"It's alright Sky. We should get going anyways," Haku says, and leads the way out of the building, not letting go of my hand. I happily followed along, wondering what would be for dinner.
