Chapter 1: The Perfect Day.

I woke up extra early. I couldn't wait one more minute. Today was the day I turned 18. I was finally my own person. When I went down stairs, my parents were waiting for me. They had pancakes on the table. As soon as they saw me they yelled, "Happy Birthday!"

"Thank you mom, thanks dad," I said with a simple on my face. I sat down at the table and ate my pancakes. When I finished, they told me they had a surprise for me. I smiled really big. They held up an envelope. Millions of thoughts went through my head.

What could it be? Is it money? Is it a plane ticket? Am I going on vacation? Is it a letter? What could it be? I need to know!

I held my hand out to receive my gift. My mom smerked and said, "nope you get it after school." I glared at her then smiled. I grabbed my bag and made my way to my car.

When I arrived at school, my best friends were waiting for me. Kylie, Jenna, and Peyton were all making their way towards my car. I pulled the key out of the ignition and stepped out of the car. Kylie handed me a small box. I looked at her, making a facial expression that showed I was wondering what was in the box. She smiled assuring that I can open it. I lifted lid, and removed the small bit of tissue paper that was there. I gasped at the gift. She had gotten me a charm bracelet, and a necklace. The bracelet had a charm for every big memory we had. And the necklace was a heart that was engraved with the words, "friends stay forever." I was so happy I almost cried. Then Jenna handed me something. It was a small card. It said, "This may not be much, but it's not the object that matters, it's the story behind the thing." Attached to it was a small stone. On the back it was marked with a sharpie, it said, "friends till death." When we were younger, when we first met, we wrote this. Last but not least Payton gave me her gift. She gave me a locket. It had a picture o the first picture we ever took together inside it. I gave every one of them a hug and said thank you. We walked into the school.

When school was out I hurried home. I was eager to find out what was in the envelope. I went so fast I almost went 20 over the speed limit. Thank god there was no cops around. As soon as I got to my house I jumped out of the car. I ran inside and found my parents in the living room. I smiled, letting them know I was ready for my present. They stood up. My mom handed it to me. I opens the envelope carefully. I reach in the envelope and pull out what is inside. They were tickets. Tickets to One Direction. I have loved one Direction all my life. I idolized them. I couldn't help but to scream and then burst into tears. My mom and dad were happy I liked my gift. I hugged them. I was so happy. This was the best gift I had ever gotten. My parents and I weren't very wealthy. In fact we were just barley getting by. So for them to be able to get this for me, it was so supposing and it was just amazing.

Later that evening, after dinner, my mom brought out a cake. It said, "Happy 18th Birthday Amanda!" I was so happy. My Birthday was just amazing. I got everything I could ever ask for. I had amazing friends, great parents, and the perfect gifts. What more could I ask for? Other than the perfect guy. But I knew that I would never find a guy that was as great as Louis Tomlinson from One Direction. He was my ultimate dream guy. I absolutely loved him and still do. I could only imagine what my life would be like with him. Always laughing, always smiling, always being happy. It would be just perfect. A girl can dream of living that life.

I went to sleep that night dreaming of the perfect life with Louis Tomlinson. I dreamed of being famous with him. Laughing at his jokes. Eating carrots with him. Living in the perfect house. Hanging out with the boys in the band. I knew I could never live that life. But I dreamed it anyway.
