Divergent: Eric Fan Fic

After a year when the two divergent people got away, the rules and system changed. Since my I come from the intelligent group, I have nothing to worry about. My mom is the head of the intelligent group and taught me how to be like them. So much I tried but I seem not to get their ways and I tend to be like dad when he doesn't like what he's doing. He told me that he used to be a Dountless, then he chose Erudite and then regretted it. He taught me to fight and how to think like a Dountless, and how to defeat them and how to read them well and in a span of seconds. Father said that I would be a big shot if I would become one of his kind. He told me that he would support me no matter what.

Exams were over and the next day is where we choose what we are going to be. When I entered the building, I knew what I will become, I will be a Dountless. I don't care what my mom thinks or do, it is my decision.

"Today, you will choose who you will be. When I call your name, please come in front and choose your new life" my mom said. There were 18 of us, and out if them, I was the only girl. Seven of us chose Dountless and I knew that my mom looked at me with surprise when I chose Dountless, but I didn't Damon care. After the choosing, I walked to my dad and hugged him goodbye before I leave.

When we all got out, we claimed the post of the train rail way and waterborne the train. We all ran after it and I was in the middle box of the train. Most of the peoplel in this room where boys, so I stayed at the corner of the train beside the window. Later on, a girl in a Dountless clothing came to me.

"You know, you are the only girl who joined our group. Well, you were the only girl who was called" she said.

"Yeah" I replied.

"Amber" she reached out her hand for a shake.

"Veronica" I said then shook her hand.

"Welcome to Dountless, Veronica" she said.

I smiled and she walked away back to her group. I looked back the window to looked at the view. Later on, the crowd seemed to be fired up and some of the opens the door and when we reached a building, they jumped. I took of my heels and jumped after the others. I was almost able to make a clean landing on the ground, but I didn't want them to find out I'm good at these kinds of stuff. We all huddled at the middle and a man standing confront of us was looked at us.

"Ok everyone, listen. Since you joined this group, you should be brave enough to jump off this building to there" everyone stepped close to the edge and looked. I stayed behind since I know what's down there. One of the boys seemed to be messing around with one of the candor, I couldn't help out now. But when they threw the boy I ran after him and cranberries handing time.

"I'm going to swing you. See that window step, when I swing you closer to it, I want you to step on it and jump up so you can help with your weight, ok?" I said.

The boy nodded in fear and I started to swing him. Later on, he was able to do as I say and was able to bring him up. He painted while I looked at him catching his breath. Everyone looked at me, but I didn't care. The man who talked earlier walked to me and smiled.

"Impressive. Since you were the only lady who joined, ladies first" he said.

"Sure" I said then jumped. I landed on the net with one knee down and my hands to support me not to wobble over. It was anyway a nice landing. I stood up carefully and hopped off the net.

"That was a neat landing" a man said.

"Thanks. But I saw the net, so that's why I know how to land" I said looked at him.

He was tall and black. Behind him was a group of people. They all looked at me seriously and it made me feel uncomfortable. But I showed them a strait face.

"Well, I think we are going to have a good year this year. And interesting" that man said while he walked away and his group left with him.
