Wasnt it amazing when we were young?
Running, laughing, playing in the sun.
Loving school and eating ice cream
Always wanting to be a teen.
We would always be so content
How going to our room was a punishment.
Only cried when we got injured
Playing in the snow after a blizzard.
When going outside was better than wifi
But now, we would rather die.
Loved going grocery shopping
Eating anything if we were starving
Only wanting the new toys
Always making a ton of noise.
How we wouldnt drink so many cans of coke
Never wanting to smoke.
Clinging to our mums when scared of something
When we didnt know anything about crushing.
Thought sleep was our enemy
Now, it is necessary and heavenly.
Remember all those fun times?
Maybe we can live them but rarely or sometimes.
Being a kid was always so much fun
Now we realize, our lives have really begun.
