When I am sad I ran to You
When I am down I look up to You
When I feel alone and empty
Your overwhelming presence makes me happy
When times get rough and I run dry
You fill my cup and surely I'll get by
So many questions filled my mind
Why I am alone ang left behind?
Love comes slow and goes so fast
Yet God's love will forever last
Be still my soul just trust in Him
He has better plans yet to be seen
Steady my heart Father God
Overwhekm me with Your steadfast love
Ease my pain and my worries away
Steady my heart oh this I pray
I ran to You coz I knew You love me
I sing to You coz I knew You are for me
My heartaches to You I reveal
I knew You are real and You can Heal
You are my shield my refuge my strength
This life I have and this air I breathe
I owe it to You my Loving God
