Jessica point of view

I pulled up to my moms house and got out of the car and grabbed my bag

I saw my mom and sister sitting at the table we don't really have a dad. I was a daddy's girl so I kind of hated it when he died when I was 2.

I opened the door and I heard Emily scream and run to me.

"Hey em I have something for you." my mom Christina said. My little sister wobbled back into the kitchen where my mom was.

" Ahhhhhh! You got me tickets for one direction!!!!!" I heard my sister scream.

" Emily calm down ok. it's so you guys can get out." my mother says as I walk into the kitchen

" wait in going aswell! ha!! nope I am not going mom you can't force me to. I am staying home ok."I said boldly.

"No you are not! you are going with your sister and you don't have a choose. You are going, I already payed for the ticket.." she said sternly

" The ticket that won't be used, I have plans I'm going book shopping with Lindsay I'm only here for 3 days then I go back to school for one week then I have grad mom"I say under my breath.

"Did you say something dear?"mother asks knowing the answer. Lindsay is going to be so mad when I tell her I can't go to the mall with her.we were going to shop for dress.

I walk off to my room with in one hand pizza and coke in the other. I sat on my bed watching criminal minds when I got a text from my boyfriend Zach

'Hey wanna hang out at your house tonight?' it read

'Sure. um see you in 10-15?'

5 minuets later 'ok' it said on the screen. after watching an episode of criminal minds with Zach. he breaks silence.

" Hey...um what wrong?" he asked with concern in his eyes.

Great.

"Ugh...my mom got my Em and I tickets to that chicken killing 5 voices! one direction." I say in irritation.

He looks me in the eyes and says" well there not that bad."

" I just don't want to see my stepbrother up there ok. You wouldn't understand." I say sadly .

"What your stepbrother is in the band who Harry, Liam, Zayn,Louis or Niall?" He asks. once he said Niall I lost it.

" You don't need to know ok it's personal you wouldn't understand to have a stepbrother that didn't help you in fight or school problems ok. so just drop it!" I say through my teeth.

"Ok I was just wondering!" he yells.

" Can you please change the channel please." I plead.

"Actually I have to go. Goodnight Jess." he says smiling.

" Is it because of what I said?" I ask with I frown on my face.

"What no! why would you think that?"

"Well because...Um I said 'You don't need to know ok it's personal you wouldn't understand to have a stepbrother that didn't help you in fight or school problems ok. so just drop it!' and then you were like ok I gotta go. that's why ? I'm sorry for being mean and all but I can't do anything about not like Niall ok it's bad enough that my mom is making me and my sister... wait correction making ME go to the concert and then I have to hang out with him the full summer. which is a one week after grad.ok I'm sorry Zach it's all my fault." I'm out of breath at the end of my speech.

Zach opens his mouth to speak. But then closing it and pressing it into a thin tin line and says " you know what it is your fault it always is I forgive you and it goes in circles and never ends." he says raising his hand and slapping me in the face. I stumble back as I hear foot steps. Zach just stands there.

" You know what Zach I'm tired of you doing things to that I don't want you to do. I want you to stop hurting me o...or I'm done ok done! And plus I don't do anything ok I was just apologizing!" I say through my gritting teeth.

" Well I guess we're done. because I can do what I want to my girlfriends ok." he says with his jaw and fists clenched.

I start to get and I balance myself. he raises his hand again and begins the motion to slap me but I catch his wrist and say " Now, don't you ever and I mean ever talk to me, touch me, or come to this house hold ever again or there will be consequences for you. ok? if I were you I would be leaving at the moment.ok?"

I say as my sister walks in.

" Hey Jess I was wondering..." her voice trailed off looking at my face and at Zach

"Hey sweetie he was just about to leave. what's wrong?" I say with my sweet voice

"I can't go to sleep sis." she says with a frown hugging her teddy bear.

"Looks like She's not the only idoit in this room" Zach says under his breath

" I will be there in a minuet. ok?" I said as she nodded and left the room.

Once she was gone,I turned around and sent draggers and bullets at him.

"What?" he said.

"What do you mean? what? she's only 4 years old Zach." I say rubbing my temples."You know what Zach? Just leave me and my family and friends alone.ok? I'm done Zach! DONE!!!" I say as he backs away with his hands up in defeat. And left my room. 5 minuets later Emily walks in my room and sits on my bed and says

"sis are you ok?"

"I'm fine. now let's go you to bed. yeah?" I say as I pick her up she nods tiredly. I walk to her room with her in my arms singinv her favorite song ' little things' UGH

'Your hand fits in mine like its made just for me, but bear this in it was meant to be, and I'm joining up the dot with the freckles on your cheeks it all make sense to me'

she fast asleep in my arms I tuck her into to bed and plant a soft kiss on her forehead.

" Goodnight emy." I say smiling at her sleeping body and thinking ' tomorrow I have to go to the concert with em I have to text linds' so I pick up my phone and text Lindsay saying I can't go. she says " it's fine Jess. Ok? Can I come over?"

All I say is ok.

20 minuets later I hear my mom and Lindsay talking down stairs.I walk down quietly I pass my sisters room and she's playing with dolls. wait why is my sister up.Oh well then.

"Lindsay, what the hell are you doing at my house at 9:30 at night?!?!" my mother whisper shouted at her.

"I'm here to talk to your daughter about what's happening tomorrow and in the summer. So if you will let pass?" Lindsay said snapping and moved past my mother. Once Lindsay was at the bottom of the stairs I ran across the hall to the bathroom and waited for two minuets then a knock at the door came.

"Jess you in there?" Lindsay says stifling tears.

What the hell?

"Yep! I'm getting out now." I said.

When I get out I see Lindsay sitting on the floor and Emily's arms wrapped around Lindsay.

" Linds are you ok? what happened? How did you know I was...Never mind."

"Your mom was in the kitchen screaming. I didn't know what to do, when I went over to her she was sleeping then I woke her up and started like I don't know whispering and yelling at the same time so I told her I was here to talk to Emily but then I saw your Audi and was like ' she's home! she's home!' Then I wanted to talk to you and catch up on you and Zach." she said through tears. Emily sat in her lap and wiped her tears away
