As I walk down the hallway of Redwood High, guys are whistling at me and calling me inappropriate things.
This is why I never wanted to leave my all girl's school because there weren't boys catcalling me every corner I turned. I wish I could just tell everybody that I'm lesbian. It would honestly make everything a thousand times easier, but my parents won't let me. They think I will get bullied, but I don't give a shit about what the kids at this school think of me. I just want to go back.
"Hey, Naomi. Want to come over to my house tonight? My parents won't be home." A guy says as he holds my hand.
I quickly pull my hand away, and glare at him.
"Sorry, but I'm not trying to get an STD," I say, as I continue to walk down the hall.
This is why I despise boys.
I stop at Room 23. AP Calculus. I open the door and walk in. The classroom is half full, and everybody is sitting in the back, leaving only the first few rows open. I sigh, and sit in the very front row, right in front of the board. As I wait for the late bell to ring, I pull out my homework and a pencil. I look over my homework quickly, making sure that I did not miss a single question.
"Okay, everybody get your homework out!" Mrs. Booley says as the bell rings.
The class shuffles around in their bags, as they look for their homework.
"Do not stress! I am here!" I hear someone exclaim, as they walk through the door.
I turn around to see Damian Holden, the school's bad boy, puffing out his chest.
"Just sit down, Mr. Holden, and get out your homework." Mrs. Booley says as she sits at her desk.
"I would sit down, but there are no more seats," Damian says, as I continue to stare at him.
"Actually, there is a seat by Ms. Sparks." Mrs. Booley says.
I jerk my head towards Mrs. Booley and shake my head frantically.
"Great! A seat right next to my buddy!" I hear Damian say, as he makes his way over.
"God kill me now," I mutter under my breath, as I stare at my desk.
"What did you say, Naomi?" Damian asks as he sits next to me.
"I said nothing! Don't worry about it." I say.
"Gosh, this girl got some sass." He says chuckling.
"Mr. Holden, I suggest you keep your mouth shut, and not disturb Naomi. Unlike you, she is determined to learn something." Mrs. Booley says.
"And unlike you, Naomi is actually good looking," Damian says, as he leans back in his chair.
"Can you not?" I say as I give Damian a disgusted look.
"Sorry, Princess. Didn't mean to disturb you." He says as he puts his hands in the air in defeat.

I walk out of Mrs. Booley's class in a rush. I do not need Damian talking to me right now.
"Sparks!" Damian says as he jogs towards me.
I turn around and shake my head, as I continue to run down the school hallway.
"It's lunch time. You won't be able to escape!" Damian yells as I turn the corner to the cafeteria.
I slow my pace, as I reach the cafeteria doors. I open one of the doors and the noise echoes through the hall. I quickly walk in and clothes the door. I walk to the lunch table where all my friends are at.
"Hey, guys," I say, as I put my bag down, and sit next to one of my good friends, Hannah.
"Hey." Some of them say back.
"So what did you bring today?" I ask Hannah, as I rest my head on my hands.
"I brought you a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich," Hannah says as she digs in her lunch box.
"Awe, how sweet!" I exclaim as she hands me the sandwich.
"Lemonade or Iced Tea?" Hannah asks.
"I'm feeling like some Iced Tea today," I say smiling.
She hands me a bottle of Lipton Iced Tea, and I set it down in front of me. I open the little zip lock bag that my sandwich was in and pull my sandwich out. I take a big bite, and happily, chew.
"It's crunchy peanut butter. Your favorite." Hannah says smiling happily.
"I can tell," I say, as I cover my mouth, and chew.
"So, have you talked to any boys yet?" My other friend, Kayla, asks.
"No," I say.
"Why not? It's obvious that a lot of them like you. You even have some of the football players drooling over you." Kayla says.
"Yeah, even Damian," I say, as I put my sandwich down, and take a sip of my tea.
"No, you can date anybody else except him," Hannah says, as she gives me a look of concern.
"I'm not going to date anybody here," I say, as I look at both of them.
"Come on! There are some cute nice boys here." Kayla says as she nudges me.
"Yeah, like me." I hear a familiar voice say.
"You aren't on that list, Sweetheart," I say, as I turn in my seat to see Damian standing right behind me.
"I'm pretty sure I am because I haven't done anything wrong to you," Damian says, with a little smirk on his face.
"Yeah, you haven't done anything wrong yet!" Hannah says.
"So, I was going to ask you if you wanted to go out for dinner this Friday night, Naomi," Damian says.
"You're joking," I say, as I try to contain my laughter.
"Nope. I'm being one hundred percent honest." He says.
"You're doing this so you can get in her pants, and we are not letting you do that. You've fucked over every girl in this school except her. Just leave her alone." Kayla says annoyed.
"Actually, I thought we had something real, Kayla, but you were the one who cheated not me," Damian says, crossing his arms over his chest.
Is he serious right now?
"Just leave," Kayla says.
"No, I haven't gotten my answer from, Naomi, yet. Damian says.
I look at Hannah, and then at Kayla. He thinks this is a game...okay...let's play.
"Sure. I'll go to dinner with you this Friday." I say.
