Letting Go

Chapter One

Eva Baines~
I'm talking to one of my friends Jenifer about the party tonight at Liam's house, and if he'll ask me to the prom or not. "So did you hear about Quinn's dress she said he was a mess because of her little brother". Says Jenifer. "No way I would kill Evan if he ever did that. Any who who do you think is going to ask us to the dance?" I say because I'm super pumped about PROM."Well obviously Liam will ask YOU to PROM and his best friend Kyle will ask me duh". She says then we both start to giggle.Then BOOM my left eye begins to hurt with a sudden stining feeling in it. Me reacting the way anyone would react I cover my eye."OWW" I say. Jenifer being the friend she is reacts way too much she is in the drama club well she is head of the club."Oh my goodness what is it!!!!!!" She says really loud to where everyone turns to look at us. "Miss.Baines is there a problem back there." My homeroom teacher Mrs.Charles says."No Ma'am there is no problem here Jenifer was just over reacting to some mascara getting in my eye". I say as calm as possible."Very well Miss.Spencer please lay off the drama". Mrs.Charles says. But Jenifer won't let that slide with her."But drama is my calling sorry". She say with ay too much attitude. One look from Mrs.Charles and you'll know when to shut the heck up. Anyways my eye keeps hurting me. So.... "Mrs.Charles can i go to the nurse my eye is killing me". I say covering my eye walking up to her. "Yes take Jenifer with you so you'll have eyes to help you walk". We get our stuff to go to the nurse. We walk down the hall and see.

5 minutes before and during when Eva's eye started hurting.

Evan Baines~
"Yeah I know right so I'm going to ask Eva Jones to Prom and then ill score with the little hottie" says Liam James captain of the football team,basketball team,baseball team,lacrosse​ team,and soccer team and he's the reason why I never got on any of the teams and he's talking about my baby sister by a whole day. We are in World history when he says all of this. And he's a douche bag. "What did you say about my little sister?" I say turning my head to face him. "Oh come on we all know she's not that much younger than you what is it a day or so". Liam says with his little jock friends laughing. I ignore him and finish Miss.Deckers stupid work that I make a C+ on. When the bell rings we all grab our stuff and leave. But Liam will not​ get away with this. Him and his friends are walking up to the door and after they come out I stop them. "Hey Liam can WE and just US two talk". I say and he listens. "Ok I got this guys he's not gonna do anything". He says and knows where to push my buttons. He gives them a nod and his two jock friends hit my shoulders with theirs and he smirks when they do so. "So what do you wanna talk about Baines". He says in a annoyed voice with a very popular Liam eye roll that every girl in the school would die for including my sister.

Evan Baines~
"This". I say and punch him square in the nose. Surprised Liam falls on the floor but he won't take  one hit  including if its from me. He fires on at me whats the point of a fight if he won't fight back right,what's the point of a fight if no one see's it too. thats why I chose this time of day with his face bleeding and mine burning we keep going till he's on the ground whipping blood from his nose and we hear "Evan Fredrick Baines what the hell are you doing?" Eva says. Her eye has a black rim on it. Damnit why did she have to feel my pain and have to suffer from it.

Coming back from the nurse Jenifer and I go down the hall that Evan my big brother (by a day) goes to World history where the teacher is Miss.Deckers class. She is an awful piece of flesh. The reason we go is because I think I know the reason I have a black eye. Just to see a bunch of kids plied near Miss.Deckers classroom when I finally know the reason my eye is black and burning. Evan is in a fight with only god knows who well and all these kids around em. I push my way to where the fight is going on.When I get there I'm breathe less. My eyes basically come out of my head with my mouth wide open.  Before I do anything Liam looks at me nose all bloody and I say "Evan Fredrick Baines what the hell are you doing?" I say this because well I know he hates his middle name and I use it to my advantage. Before Evan says what his excuse is for bloodying up the love of my life I run to Liam even though he is bloody I take my FAVORITE WHITE jacket off  and give it to him to wipe his nose not bothering to help my brother. At first Liam says no to the jacket because he knows its my favorite and pushes it away but when I push it back he looks at me a way he never has till now and takes it. He starts to clean his blood I notice the blood on my arm not Liam's but mine because well my brother has a bloody nose. He stops it and then mine stops. Then Miss.Decker comes out finally. She's a small old woman with brown and gray to white hair she's very wrinkly with reading glasses and a dress only she would wear. "What in the world is goin on here?" before anyone of us can explain everyone who was watching Liam and Evan get their asses get handed to each other they all skerie away  giggling "You three" she says pointing a small wrinkled finger at us. "Go to the headmistress's office NOW and Eva im very disappointed in you". She says kinda sad that she had to say it. We get our stuff and head to Headmistress's Bentley​'s  office.
