Chapter 2

My skipping came to a halt when I felt my phone vibrating in my hand, my mother was calling me. "Hey mum" I said putting on a weak voice.

"Hey sweetie, the school said you were sick at school today, are you okay?"

"Yeah  I was sick, I'm on my way home right now, I don't have to go to school tomorrow, right?" I said exaggerating my sick voice.

"No, that would be a bad move"

"Okay mum, thank you" I hung up and smiled and ran to

I my house which was only down the street. I finally got to my house, I unlocked the door and made my way upstairs and into my bedroom, I flopped down on my bed, I almost instantly fell asleep, but what felt like only a second later I woke up with the feeling that someone was in my bedroom....on my bed...my eyes snapped open and my body tensed only to relax after my eyes adjusted to the lighting, it was only my mum, I groaned a little at the pain in my thigh.

"Honey, I just came up to tell you that I have to go to work now and that your going to be home alone until 8pm, I'm sorry sweetie, but if you get hungry at any point in the day, help yourself to anything you want" she whispered looking concerned, she ran her hand through my hair with a faint smile and I nodded to show her I'd be okay, she smiled, stood up and exited my bedroom silently. About half an hour passed when I finally heard the front door open and close. She was gone. I stayed in bed admiring my bedroom, I had purple painted walls with black swirls that repeated itself in an elegant manner, I had dark polished flooring with a big black rug under the bed, I had a big yellow painted wardrobe and a big bright yellow desk holding my laptop and school bag, tucked nearly beneath the desk was a purple swizzle chair, I glanced over to my window, the black velvet curtains allowed a beam of light into my bedroom, I snuggled into my purple bed and stroked the soft memory foam pillow, I sighed and decided to go out.

This is just kind of a boring chapter that describes Felicity's room, not much to it :P
