Chapter 1

"Hi" When I heard her voice for the first time, I got a strange feeling. My heart beat faster and louder, I got nervous all of sudden and I couldn't move or talk as I heard to her sweet and beautiful voice the first time we met. We're in the same school since she was really shy at the beginning, I never noticed her. Then, one day when I was walking home from school I saw her sitting on a bench all alone. I thought she must've had a hard time finding friends. I know what it is like to be alone, so I decided to talk to her. Back then, I wouldn't have expected that only one word could change my whole life. I greeted her. She looked at me nervously and then she smiled and said "Hi". Her lightpurple hair was blowing in the wind and I stood there like I was paralysed. After I got myself together I gulped and continued talking to her. After that day, we became friends. She often hung out at my place and told me something about "Bangtan Sonyeondan". She always seemed to be very happy when she talked about them. It made me happy to see her smile. The more time I spent with her, the more I liked her. I knew I couldn't keep it a secret forever, but it also felt wrong not to tell her. I just couldn't stop thinking about it. On a rainy day when we were walking home and kidded around she suddenly stopped and looked at her watch. "F*ck- I'll miss my train if I don't hurry up. Sorry Jihoon! Gotta go!" She wanted to run away to get her train but I stopped thinking ,let my umbrella fall and grabbed her wrist. "Wait-"she turned around and looked at me "Echo" I said "I think...I like you!" Echo freed her arm, glanced at me and then she ran away
