Turns out Tori Jones couldn't make it.

Just as she thought she had the afternoon free, one of her teachers at Uni decided to subsitute free period to a class. Disappointed, she rung Matty during her lunch break in a sullen tone.

"Oh, well, that's fine." Matty replied, trying to keep his tone of voice consistent. He couldn't blame her, it wasn't her fault that one of her teachers decided to be shitty by switching schedules. George looked at Matty as he hung up; "She can't make it.." he sighed, taking a cigarette back into his mouth.

George raised a brow an continued to look at Matty, "But you can." he said. "Why not go out tonight instead of this afternoon?"

Exhaling and watching the smoke flow out of his mouth, Matty turned to George and laughed. He got up from his seat and rejoiced at George's ingeniousness, kissing his cheek even before heading out.

When the afternoon had finished, Tori sat dismayed in her bedroom with a couple of unfinished plates. She was home alone as Elias was off fetching Philip from work. Just as she wearily picked up a pencil to start sketching, the doorbell rang. She slowly got up, there was no rush in doing anything as her day had been ruined already.

But the doorbell rang and rang and rang.

"Oh, for fucks sake calm your dicks." Tori frowned, finally reaching the door and unlocking it only to see that it hadn't been Elias standing at her door.

It was Matty.

"How can I, right when I'm about to see you?" he said jokingly.

Instantly, Tori's mood brightened, "What are you doing here?" she said as she let him inside the house and gave him a hug. He looked down at her and smiled, "Just cause you can't make it doesn't mean I can't either. What do you say about going out tonight instead?"

Tori bashfully looked down at her attire; she hadn't changed out of the dress she'd worn to Uni that day and had simply left her hair in a ponytail."I'm a mess." she replied.

Matty only smirked, "So am I. That shouldn't stop us from going out."

She smiled, tiptoed slightly to press her lips on his cheek, "Let me go put on some shoes."

Matty's eyes wandered across the flat until he found post it's by the phone. He walked over and began scribbling a few words when Tori had emerged with shoes on.

"Ready to go?" she asked.

Writing the last out of the three words he scribbled on the post it, he turned to Tori and slid his arm around her waist. Smiling down at her, he decided to repeat the words he once muttered while they were at one of the clubs while looking for Elias, "Let's get out of here."

  "Tori?"

said Elias as he and Philip entered the flat, only to find it deserted. The two walked further inside, checking whether she was anywhere around the house.

"She's not in her room." said Philip, "Where could she have gone?"

Elias's eyes found its way to the post it Matty had scribbled on earlier tonight and he made his way towards it. He smiled as he read it and picked it up, allowing Philip to see the note only three words long.
