"Subjects H52B3, N4J96, and H34I2 h-have been progressing i-in power control very w-well! Now... S-subjects, B3I56, H78R3, and 2UI49 aren't p-progressing at all..." Dr. E said looking up from her clipboard. "Well, that's not acceptable here. Call them to the main testing facility, immediately." Dr. M replied, turning his back to the other doctor and leaving. Dr. E clumsily scurried to the speaker and clicked the little button at the bottom of the microphone. "U-um, subjects, B3I56, H78R3, a-and 2UI49, p-please report t-to the main t-testing facility..." She stuttered and took her finger off the button letting out a shaky sigh. "Seriously?!" Subject B3I56 sighed loudly dragging his feet. Subjects H78R3 and 2UI49 ran down the hall past B3I56, giving him raspberries. They all stopped in front of the main testing facility, and fell in unison. "You dirty freaks, get up." Dr. M sneered glaring down at the three 7-year-olds at his feet. "We aren't freaks!" H78R3 yelled flipping him the bird. He kicked H78R3 in the gut and scowled at the other two. He then gave them a good beating and sent them back to their rooms.
<Later that night in B3I56's room>
B3I56 sat on his bed, crying and clinging to a make shift stuffed animal H78R3 had made him. His door opened, revealing the gray-haired boy. "H78R3 it's after lights out! You can't be here, the doctor will hurt you!" He exclaimed watching him close the door and sit next to him on his bed. "I don't care if he hurts me. I wanted to make sure you were ok." He said wiping a tear off B3I56's face and inspecting him. He kissed all of his bruises and bandaged his cuts. "Hey. I have something to ask you." B3I56 said after he was done. "Yes?" He asked looking into his eyes. "Do you think we're ever gonna meet our parents?" He asked, tearing up again. "I promise we will someday." He said hugging him. "We're always gonna be together, right?" He asked hugging back. "Of course we are. I'm always going to be right here to protect you."
