You and Itachi have been friends for many years as you were in the Akatsuki before he came and when he did come you both enjoyed each other's company more than the other members.
You and Itachi are sitting in the living room currently reading books while sitting next to each other in silence. Not the awkward kind of silence. It was a nice silence, a comfortable silence.
"Ne, Itachi-San?" You ask getting his attention.
"Yes, (Y/N)?" He says not looking up from his book.
"Why do you hang out with me?" You ask shocking Itachi with the question.
"Nani? Where did this come from all the sudden?" He questions.
"Well, I just don't get it. Why you hang out with me. I'm boring. The only interesting thing about me is I have powerful jutsu that only I can use." You explain.
"I hang out with you because you are intelligent, unique, beautiful, and my crush." He mumbles the last part but you could still hear him.
"You like me?" You say bashful.
"I don't like you, (Y/N). I love you." He says looking you in the eyes.
You blush and Itachi grabs your hands while leaning closer to you. You lean in as well and right before your lips touched you both closed your eyes.
His lips were soft, warm, and gentle. The kiss burned with passion but eventually you both had to pull away because the stupid thing called oxygen.
"(Y/N) will you be my girlfriend?" Itachi asks you looking away with a small blush on his face.
You grin like an idiot and happily nod your head.
