New Feelings

Chapter 1:New Beginnings

Sam Evans was not really sure of going to the party Ron had invited him to. But being the playboy as he was,he could not even miss this one for the fact that Ron had told him there will be hot and sexy girls there. Even though  he was a playboy,neatness was his second priority.
He went to the bathroom and had a shower within thirty minutes and he came out and dressed in his casual wear and wore his baseball boots and drove off in his sedan to the casino.
When he entered the gambling house,he immediately felt relaxed and was amazed at the number of people that had come to the party. He saw Ron,Jerry,Ethan and Nick sitting on one of the tables and he saw an empty seat by Jerry and assumed that was his. He walked up to them and had a seat by Jerry.

    "So how are you guys?"
    "We are doing good Sammy." Ethan said with his eyes on a girl not far away from their table.
    "Wow,the girls here are sexy,I really think I'll have fun " Sam said.
    "Didn't I tell you,I knew you would like them." Ron said.

They were playing a game of cards and drinking alcohol when a girl came behind Sam and massaged his shoulder.

    "Well Sammy, I think your presence is needed somewhere other than here." Ron said looking at the girl.
    "Wish me luck guys."

He stood up from his chair and held the girl by the waist and took her to one of the inner rooms.

     "Take it easy on her bro." Nick said while laughing.
     "He would never change." Jerry said.

The next day as Sam was sleeping, he discovered that someone was removing the blanket from  his face and he wondered who it could be. He opened his eyes and was surprised to see his mother.

    "Ma,when did you get here?"
    "Just a few minutes ago,Sam it's 9am and you are still in bed. Aren't you going to work today?"
    "Ma,yesterday was a Saturday and I went to Ron's party and today is definitely Sunday and not a working day."
   "(She laughed)Do you ever notice that when you go for those your parties, you forget the days of the week. Get up and have a shower and go to work."

He hurriedly got up from the bed and discovered that his mother is still inside.

    "Ma,can you kindly go out of my room so that I can do my stuff?"
     "Sure. But you need to hurry . I will be making breakfast downstairs."
    "Thanks ma."

She went out of the room and after forty five minutes Sam came running down the stairs ,took his breakfast and  left for the office.
Luckily,he was one of the shareholders of the company and he entered the room where all meetings took place and he definitely he was late.

    "I'm sorry guys,won't make the mistake next time."

He went and sat by Jerry. Sam and Jerry worked in a fashion enterprise called Cruz. Ron owned  a casino and hotels, Ethan owned ships and aeroplanes, and Nick owned a business enterprise.

"So as we were saying before Mr Evans cane in,we were talking about how to make more consumers buy our products and keep our enterprise functioning." Mr Adams said.

The CEO was at the center of the table and he was a man of little words and when he spoke, he spoke with some authority and he decided to speak.

    "I think I've got an answer to that question."

All eyes were suddenly on him and he continued speaking.

     "We have a new member and she will help us with that problem. Miss Deborah Ambers can you come in?"

A girl with long,wavy,black hair and fair complexion came into the room and all eyes were on her and she was very young and probably the youngest amongst all of them.She took a seat behind one of the shareholders.

     "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome our newest member Deborah Ambers."

There was a round of applause and the CEO told her to speak about what she knew about Cruz.She stood up and began talking.

    "Well,as the CEO said,I'm Deborah Ambers but you guys can call me Debbie. I should be the youngest amongst everyone seated here but that doesn't change the fact that I've got big dreams for Cruz and I'll make sure those dreams come true. As you guys can all see,my bag here is a Cruz product and my shoes and that goes same with my watch. I can't say the dreams now but for sure I know that Cruz's products are the best here in Ohio,Oklahoma, Maryland, New York  and you can name the rest. I would like to observe each and everyone of you and what you guys do here before I can spill out the beans. Thanks once again for making me one of your members."

She sat down and there was a strange silence in the room and everyone was looking at each other.
