"I knew who I was this morning but I've changed a few times since then." - Alice

I was absolutely idiotic to have trusted such a fiend. My parents always told me to never talk to strangers and yet, me being the self destructive person I am decided not to listen to good reason. I am currently placed in the castle dungeon and am about to go to trial for a crime I didn't commit, but I simply can't process why painting roses red would be  equivalent to that of three deaths. I was a little more lucky than the cards, for they were killed on the spot and king was generous enough to convince the queen that a trial was a only fair, for that of a little girl. Well this is boring, I wonder what their doing over in the White Castle. The one time I don't let my curiosity lead the way I end up being held prisoner in a blood red castle.

"Acacia my darling, It looks like you've taken a wrong turn." Cheshire Cat declared with his upside down grin.

"Why Cheshire, I thought you said their was no possible wrong turn, if you don't know where your going."

"Ah my dear but why would you chose to listen to me, I'm just a floating head." He said chuckling as if he thought of the idea of my death as amusing.

"I'm doomed." I scoffed, not knowing what to do.

"Looks like you've got company." He said fading away into the darkness.

"But Cheshire please come back." I shouted, hating the idea of being alone with anyone in this castle.

"Talking to the walls are we. You've only been in the prison for that of two seconds and you have already gone insane. I expected it would take at least 30 minutes." Clyde walked up to my stall, wearing the crown I had stolen back for him. I wish I had let him get it himself.

"I am not insane, the Cheshire Cat was just here I swear." I said baffled by the fact that even for a second he'd think I had gone insane.

"Well it doesn't matter anyways my dear, I've come to set you free."

"I don't believe you." After what he had done in the court yard, I had found it extremely hard to believe that such a evil would help me.

"Fine, you can rot in here if you'd like but I have better things to do than sit here trying to convince you to come with me."

"Theirs a catch. what is it?" I said. Curious as to what he'd had in mind.

"Well my dear Acacia, mother doesn't like me having friends so I decided making it seem like you were a criminal was my best bet. See I had no intention of killing you but you were very disrespectful to my mother, the queen of hearts. But after some consideration I decided to let you go, only because the thought of you running for your life amuses me."

"Ah so there it is, you aren't actually going to help me escape you just want to watch me try. Well jokes on you cause I'm staying." I said instantly regretting my decision. That ugly old hag would have my head on a stick, rather then hear what I have to say.

"Really? Are you sure that's the best decision my mother has quite the temper. Your odds of survival are very slim."

"Yes, I am sure. I will never trust a word that comes out of your mouth again."

"Well I wish you good luck, and trust me dear your going to need it." He said sincerely.

His final words repeated in my head over and over again. Death was close and I was to young to die. Leave it to me to get caught up in such nonsense instead of living the life of a normal child. Maybe he truly did care what would happen to me but was to stubborn to admit it. I toss that thought out of my head after remembering the cruel words he had spat out in the court yard.

"IT WAS HER MOTHER, SHE'S BEEN PAINTING THE ROSES RED!"
