Chapter 4

JACK'S POV

I was watching more of the news. Sophia is in the hospital. She is in bad condition. I need to be there as soon as possible. I called Heighlee.

Me: "Hales."

Heighlee: "I got everyone tickets. Our flight leaves tonight. Get packing."

Me: "Damn. Okay see you in the morning."

I hung up and started to pack. I told my mom and sisters. My mom understood and my older sisters did too but Isla didn't. She didn't want me to leave.

Me: "Isla, I know you don't want me to leave but baby sister. This is the girl I love. I see her in the future with me. I need to be there for her. I love you so much Isla."

I wiped her tears away and kissed her cheek. I hugged my mom and sisters. I got an Uber and started my way to the airport.

I hurried through security and checked in. I was ready to see Sophia. I'm so nervous. What if she won't forgive me? This is going to be a long flight.

I finally landed. It was early in the morning. I was waiting for everyone to come. Daniel and Angelina came first. I hugged both of them.

Daniel: "Everything is finally looking up for you, bro."

Corbyn and Christina came. Slowly Jonah and Zoe head over to us. Finally, Zach and Heighlee. We all jumped to our feet and fast walk to our Uber.

We already located where Sophia's hospital is at. It took us an hour because of traffic but we finally made it. I hopped out of the car and took a deep breath.

Heighlee: "Let's get to our girl."

We all made our way to the hospital. We brought flowers and balloons. We asked the nurse to show us where Sophia is. She brought us up to her door. I started to sweat. She opened it and let us in.

I was first. I walked in slowly. Sophia turned to our direction.

Me: "B- baby..."

She looked confused.

Heighlee: "Sophia?"

Sophia: "Who are they?"

Me: "What?"

Nurse: "Oh you didn't know? Sophia lost her memory of almost everything. She forgot her name and her parents. We repeatedly told her name is Sophia so now she knows her name but anything else she completely forgot."

My eyes started to swell up.

Me: "So... she doesn't remember me...?"

Nurse: "I... well I mean.. She needs time to remember... the least is months. I'm so sorry."

I looked at Heighlee. She was crying too. How can someone fuck up someone so innocent like that. My heart just torn into two pieces.

I started to cry even more. Everyone left and gave me some room. Heighlee couldn't believe what was going on. She had to step out. I went to the chair by Sophia. She looked at me and tilted her head. She was confused to who I am.

Me: "Sophia... do you know who I am?"

Sophia: "Yeah."

My heart skipped a beat.

Me: "You do?"

Sophia: "Yeah, you're the boy that barged into my room with the others."

She was mad.

Me: "No, babe... It's me Jack. Your boyfriend. We've been together for 2 years. Including the year you were taken away from me..."

Sophia: "What? I didn't have no boyfriend. I woke up with ropes tied around me and the forest just surrounded me. Until...."

Me: "Baby what... Until what..."

Sophia: "Until someone helped me."

Me: "Sophia.. Who?"

Sophia: "I don't remember."

What? How can Sophia remember that and not anything else. I need to find out before anyone else comes back for her.

Ahhhh i'm sorry I'm not updating as much as I did with Chances. School is coming up and I just been soo busy. It's going to be like this for a while. At least I'll update once a day. at least. buuut I am meeting the boys on Friday and I'm super exciteddddd. I will post up a chapter just for my pictures and maybe videos. much love -Sophia ❤️
