Aint That Ironic

"Bye babe, be safe" I pouted waving to my husband Derek

"I will, I love you Tracey" he said kissing my lips.

I ended the kiss with an "I love you too" and drove off.

I needed to get to work it was almost 9;00 and It's now 8;45 and I'm not even close yet. I speeded my way to work safely. Dabbed on some lipgloss fixed my skirt, and my top grabbed my Michael Kors handbag. and headed to the building.

I was 5 minutes late. SHIT!.

"Hello sunshine" my co-worker Kelly said.

"hey beautiful, Is Lashae Tomson there?"

"Yes she is , shes waiting at you're office."

I rushed to my office greeted Lashae and we entered my office.

I was one of the top 3 counselors in the state. I had to sit down and fix my clients conflict with her feeling like her man is cheating on her and low self esteem for 2 whole hours.

When i finished I had my break and I headed to Subway cause I sure was hungry. I miss Derek already and it's only been 2 hours. Derek was my husband and he was an entrepreneur he was the founder of Ralph Lauren and even though he was the founder he spent a lot of time with the family but he does travel a lot i do appreciate him for making time to spend with his family and doing anything to his power to protect his family but damn sometimes I wish he didn't go. I missed my baby.

Break time was over and i had 3 more clients and I headed back home.

My sister Nia would pick up my 6 year old daughter Jada. Shes one of the few i trust with my daughter because i would help her children out also and i could trust my sister with anything. if i had no one to talk or Vent to. Nia was their and she made everything better.

I got home and I saw my daughter doing her homework and Nia watching TV. As soon as I entered the door Jada ran into my arms like I was a piece of gold.

"Hey mommy!!" She said with excitement.

"Hey baby" I said kissing her cheek and putting her on my side and letting my hip go to the right so I can hold her.

"Goooood. Aunt Nia picked me up today" she smiled with all her teeth.

"I know was it fun?"

"Yup" she said fast.

"Yay go on and finish your homework" I said taking her off my side.

"Ok mommy"

I gave my sister a tight hug and a kiss on the cheek

"Hey sis"

"Hey trace, how was you're day?"

"Stressful, I miss my baby though" I pouted.

"It's ok, it'll just be 2 weeks"

"I know but I want to kiss him"

"I like to help you but not with that" she said laughing and putting on her coat

"Where you going"

"I'm horny" she said

"Bitch what? so where you going you didn't answer my question" I said laughing

"To my house, I need mike to help me out with my problem she winked grabbing her bag

"Aw I miss my baby even more now, fuck you Nia"

"I'm sorry babe but I gotta go. See ya tomorrow she kissed my cheek and said bye to Jada and left the door.

"Alright baby, come on you need to get to bed" I said to Jada

"Ok fine" she said

We went up stairs and I put her in her bed

"Mommy" she said

"Yes honey?"

"I miss daddy"

"I miss him too. But he'll be back baby. He misses you too"

"Ok I love you mommy"

"I love you too baby goodnight"

"Good night"

I went to my room put on my sleepwear and laid in this lonely ass bed. And fell asleep
