The Diamonds:

Chapter 1: Shortage of Life

It was White Diamonds worst fear. She kept getting reports from the Peridots in the kindergartens, "My Diamond, we are having trouble making gems in the Alpha kindergarten should we shut it down?" Peridot asked. "What kind of gems are you having trouble with?" White Diamond asked. "Many Carnelian and Amethysts have been defective." She explained. "Peridot, as long as they can walk and talk they'll be fine for now. Just report if you find any more defective gems." She commanded. Over time the reports got longer and longer with more gem types. Soon White Diamond couldn't make Sapphires, Milky Quartz's, Amethysts and Carnelians. For almost 50 years White Diamond wasn't able to use Quartz soldiers to defend in combat. But years later she got lucky and found a resourceful planet and decided to make a new type of gem in her image and called them Diodes. Together White Diamond and the Diodes explored the universe making new gems and conquering more planets. "White Diamond, can I have a word with you?" Red Diode smiled. "Yeah sure, what's up," White Diamond asked. "I've always wanted to ask, who made you?" She asked, "Well, my creators name is The One, he was always alone until finally he made me and a chaotic being named Black Diamond." She explained. "Wow, do you know where Black Diamond is?" Red Diode asked. "No, it's been eons since I've seen Black, and I want it to stay that way! Black Diamond destroys everything she touches!" White Diamond yelled. "Ok White, I promise I won't go looking for her." Red Diode explained nodding her head. Years later they all split up. White Diamond had just arrived on Gemolia. "My Diamond why are we back on Gemolia?" Her Pearl asked. "We can't just abandon our Home, we have to keep creating gems here Pearl." She explained. "My Diamond," a Peridot said walking up to White Diamonds throne, "We cannot get the kindergartens started and we've tried everything." "Hmm... keep them shut down, it's time for a new era of gems." White Diamond explained. And with that Peridot didn't try starting the kindergartens up again. "Oh, my Pearl. My perfect Pearl, it's my time to go." White Diamond cried, "I have to give up my essence to create more gems." "B-but My Diamond! Where will I go!? What will I do!?" Pearl cried loudly. "Oh my Pearl you can come with me if you want" White Diamond cried. Soon after White Diamond and White Pearl went to the core of Gemolia. It was dense and hot but White Diamond was resistant enough, Pearl was beginning to feel uncomfortable. "My Diamond I cant! It's to hot!" She cried. "Just jump on 3 Pearl. 1..2...3....!" White Diamond took her last words and jumped. Soon after the whole planet started to quake. Gems panicked and there was chaos. All the kindergartens caved in swallowing everything. Gems were poofing and soon everyone was poofed and shattered into shards. Years had pasted and Gemolia was a bare dull planet.  "Ohh my Stars! Diodes! Gemolia is destroyed!" Red Diode yelled as their ship approached. They landed and saw what had happened. "Guys, we have to pass on our forms so we can bring back life before it's to late!" Green Diode yelled." Of course, lets go." Brown Diode said with tears in her eyes. So they all went deep into the planet where magma was. "This is it guys, I love you," Red Diode cried. "Love you too.." everyone else said. They all held hands and jumped right into a hot spot. Their forms dissipated, but not their gems. Eons and eons passed, life started to pick up on Gemolia. Gems repopulated the planet. Without White Diamond to lead the new gems they decided to let a group of gems fuse to be a new leader, and she called herself Aurora Specs. "Hello Aurora," a Rose Quartz smiled. "Hello, what brings you here?" She asked. "Oh nothing, I just wanted to visit, how have you been?" Rose Quartz asked. "I've never been better, now please get back to your station.." Aurora commanded in a calm quiet voice. "Yes Specs as you wish," Rose Quartz said walking away. Gemolia got better and better over time. The gems waited and waited for there leader to return until one day. The clouds gathered making a diamond pattern around the red star in the sky. It was brighter and more saturated then it had ever been. The planet started having small quakes until finally the ground cracked open revealing mounds of magma slowly rising up in the air. "What is it Specs!?" Lots of gems yelled out. "Quartz soldiers attack it!" Aurora commanded. "Attack what, the lava!?" They yelled. "Ugh! Never mind! I'll take it down myself!" She yelled. Aurora Specs darted toward the lava. A Red gem shaped like the diamond pattern in the clouds flew up fast and attracted all the lava pushing Specs back until it formed a large body. "Hello! Who are you? I won't hurt you!" Specs yelled as she stopped running. "I-I'm Red, I'm Red." The newly formed gem yelled. "Let me look at your gem, I promise I'm just here to help." Specs explained walking up to the large gem. "Your gem has a diamond cut. This means your a Diamond. Red, Red Diamond." Specs smiled. "Really!" Red Diamond yelled with happiness, "I guess I'll have to take care of Gemolia from now on." "Yes, yes yes! We have a new leader gems! Her name is Red Diamond!!!" Aurora Specs yelled with tears of happiness coming from her eyes. From then on Red Diamond rebuilt Gemolia even more. She added giant mechanical parts to Gemolia and that made it easier to get everywhere. She also gave herself technological enhancements so that she was even stronger. Gemolia was now the way it was eons ago when White Diamond first started making gems there, but it was better. White Diamonds essence fueled all the kindergartens so making gems wasn't hard at all. There were also lots of ships so the gems could explore other planets and galaxies.
