“OLIVIA WAKE UP YOUR GONNA BE LATE TO CLASS! YOU CAN NOT BE LATE TO THE FIRST CLASS OF THE SEMESTER”, my roommate Jessica shouted to me before throwing a pillow at my face.
“Okay, okay I’m up”, I moaned as I slugged my way out of bed.
Since I woke up late I didn’t have time to shower. I got dressed as quick as I could. I put on my blue jeans, black combat boots and red flannel. I didn’t have time to brush my dark brown hair so I put it into a cute and fast messy bun. I put on my mascara and rushed out the door. I had been walking for 5 minutes and I was already lost. I looked around and saw a nice looking boy and walked up to him.
“Hi, sorry to bother you but do you know where room T110 is? It’s my first day and I’m lost”, I said trying not to blush.
“T110…’ he mumbled ‘that’s Chem. with Mrs. Howard. I have the same class I’ll walk you there” he said with a sweet smile.
“Oh, thank you”, I mumbled. He was cute and sweet and I couldn’t help acting like my typical shy self. As hard as I tried not to I knew I was blushing.
We walked for about 5 minutes in complete utter silence. I got the vibe that he wanted to say something but he just didn’t know what to say. We got to the classroom and without even thanking him I sat down with some girls who looked familiar.
It was lunch time and I was still lost as I was earlier that morning. I was walking around hopelessly when the boy from earlier ran up to me.
“Hey so 1, you still look as confused as you were this morning: and 2, I forgot to ask you your name”, he said with a goofy smile.
“Yeah, my name is Olivia and I still don’t know my way around this campus”, I said with a little laugh.
“Well Olivia, my name is Jonah and I would gladly show you the way around here. This is my second year here and I know my way around. I even know this good burger place if you wanna get a bite to eat”, he told me with another cute smile.
“I would love that”, I told him, trying hard not to blush again.
So we went and we got burgers and talked for who knows how long. We even exchanged phone numbers. This became a daily routine. Every morning he would meet me at a certain spot and we would walk to class together, then at lunch time we would meet. Each day he would show me a new place to eat.
