I wake up in the morning and sit up and stretch. What time is it? Oh, yes it is 9:30. Sweet, I'm late for school. Note the sarcasm. I forgot to set my alarm clock last night, hence the reason why I slept in so late. But Lily, couldn't  one of your parents wake you up? No, they don't give a shit about me or my school career. Best.Parents.Ever.Am I right.... I get up and take a nice warm shower. After doing all the duties of what a lady must do in a shower. Like, shave,wash your hair. Wait, isn't everyone supposed to wash their hair in the shower? Anyways, I step out of the shower and notice all the steam on the mirror above the sink. Must've took a long shower. Oh well, I'm already late anyways. I get dressed in [insert what you want to wear. Sorry, I suck at picking out outfits lmao] and make my way down the hall and into the kitchen.
Well, there's nothing to eat here, I'll just skip breakfast. I wasn't that hungry anyways. My mom and dad are still asleep, of course. They sleep in until 1 or 2 pm. Yes, pm. They basically stay up all night and sleep all afternoon. Since I don't have a car, I'll just walk to school. The buses already picked up everyone, except me. I live close to the school, so it won't be a problem. Other than the fact that I am tired as fuck. I walk into EastWood High. [That name sounds familiar lol I'm sorry if I stole that name from someone but I couldn't think of anything else.] This is going to be a long day like any other typical school day.
Skips until Lunch time~~~
"Heyyyy, what's up bitch." my best friend Ashley asked as she scooted an inch and patted the seat, eager for me to sit down. When this normally happens, this means Ash, her nickname, gots some gossip she needs to spill with me. "Heyyy...." I say with no enthusiasm. "What's up with you today, little Miss ISleptInTooLate?" Ash teased as she smirked at me. I just look at her and start to eat my salad. "Ooookay, well I'll tell you how my day is going so far, since someone won't tell me what's going on." Ash said and turned her body so she was facing me. "Look, I'm sorry I'm acting like a grouch today, I just had a rough morning..." my voice tailed off as I stare down at my half-eaten salad. "Awe, it's okay Lily. Did it happen again?" Ash asked with a concerned look on her face. "I'll tell you after school, Ash." I mumbled with another bite of salad in my mouth. "Okay, want me to bring any candy and movies and go to my house?" Ash asked while sipping on her sweet tea. "Oh, you don't have to do that-" I ask until I suddenly got interrupted by Ashley gasping and staring behind us. I look back and Ashley's crush, Brandon, was kissing another girl, Kendra. This is why I don't date boys. They are complete jerks. I don't care who you suggest should date me, they are a jerk. Ashley just stares at them making out, with a blank face. "Hey, it's okay Ash, there's plenty of other fish in the sea." I say as I pat her back. Yes, I said that cheesy line. I'm not the romantic type, as you can see, but when it involves my best friend, I won't let her just sit there and watch someone she loves love someone else. Back at it again with the cheesy lines. Lunch ends, and we all have to head back to class. I bid my goodbyes to Ash, but she just waved her hand with a glum look on her face.Which, I don't blame her. I would've acted the same way, if I ever learn to love again. Nah, jk I know that sounded very deep but I'm known to be a deep person. Not in a dirty way, but in situations like this. Except I'm not at my best when there's romance involved. I killed love, and love killed me. This is going to be a long day....
