Your perspective
The floor was cold. The stars shimmered. The air was brisk. I sat in the corner of an alley way watching all of the people in warm clothing walk by. I looked down at my own tattered clothing and shivered. 'I wish I had something to keep me warm'. My ears stuck to my head and my tail was rapped around me in hopes to keep my self warm. Tonight was a regular night nothing special, except for the fact that tomorrow was my birthday. I looked up from my chest to see a man in professional clothing and ... holding chains.
I had heard from people walking by that slaves were a popular thing and never in the 17 (almost 18) years of my life would i imagine that I would become one of them.
"Come now kitty girl. Come here, I won't hurt you if you do as I say." the man cooed. I looked him straight in the eyes and kept that gaze. "Now come with me and let me give you these nice chain bracelets." I knew what was going to happen, but I had nothing to do with my life here. I stood up and walked over to him. "Now that's a good girl. Stick your hands out for me, now will you? " he said. I obliged by his rules and did as I was told.
He then led me to a carriage and blind folded me. Bump, by bump we started moving. 'So. ... This is how the Rem empire is going to treat me.'
