"No Lacey! Not another word! Give it to me now!" My father, Gabriel Agreste, reached his hand out to me. I stared it with my grass colored eyes. Tears started to drip from the corner of my eyes. Was this it? Am I finished? Is my job protecting Paris over? Was my job as Chat Noir over..? I looked at the man. His lips parted. "Its for your own good.. I cant lose you like I lost your mother.."

"Mother.. Don't you even bring her into this. She died a hero." My mother was the holder of the Peacock Miraculous. My mom vanished into thin air. Thus thinking she passed away on a misson when I was a new born. Or so I was Told. "I will save this city. I will with Ladybug. I don't care what you say.. I will be a hero." I fought him so many times.. he always won in the end. Father always said no.. and it always has been from the start..

His face became enraged. He shook his hand again, this time with a more threatening tone. One he has never used with me before. "You are not made for this! Give me the miraculo-"

"Plagg! Claws out!" I yelled in a teary choked up tone. I tilted my head with streams of tears coming down my face, and gave a weak smile. "I'm Sorry.." I said as I began to transform. Plagg was sucked into the ring and I was once again Chat Noir. My alter ego. The black cat of the night. I ran to the window and looked at the man that raised me for so long.

"Ground me when I get back okay pops?" I smiled at him again before pushing open the window and jumping out. I jumped to the ground and looked up to see my father.. crying. Something I never seen him do before. The man does have a heart huh?
