Were you once a teenager?
Then, you will be happy to remember... or not... that time of your life. You will remember the emotions that you have lived and that have suffocated you on your way to maturity. You will remember your missteps and the way you managed, in the end, to straighten things out.
Do you have a teenage girl in your house?
By reading the book I wrote, you will feel (again) what she feels. You will see life through her eyes. You will be able to join her on her sinuous journey of self-seeking. You will be able to help her make the right choices without brutally intervening and pushing her away from you. Here you find all the emotions lived and felt by your teenage daughter every day.
Help her know herself! Help her grow mature! Help her be free!
Are you a teenager?
I'm sure you'll find yourself in this book. You have lived and live these emotions daily. Every day you seek yourself... you find yourself... you lose yourself... you find yourself again... so then you lose yourself again... and so on.
Is the world not what you wanted?
Or is it? You don't even know anymore. Emotions roll and come over you like a storm. Now you think you've found your way... and the next moment the chaos enslaves you and you no longer know anything. In your head, thoughts are forming tornadoes of feelings, spreading all through your tired mind.
The world is bad, your parents want to shut you up in a cage, the teachers are just tyrants... No one gives you the presumption of innocence and no one gives you the freedom you want desperately.
But ALL, absolutely all, agree that you MUST NOT do this, that or the other. They forgot that they were once teenagers and screamed for freedom. They forgot that they were confused and they saw everything foggy.
They have forgotten that, in the end, the road to maturity is being made by you from pieces of images and from events you experienced. And... eventually... if you do not burn yourself, you will not know that the fire is burning. If you do not play with fire, how do you know it can warm you up?
I know that Icarus dreamed of flying alongside the sun and collapsed in illusions. But he dreamed. He dared to dream. He assumed responsibility for his actions, understanding that he doesn't need advice to make mistakes.
