Chapter 12: "I broke Leon Vargas"

Vilu: You... You forgot how to love me?

Leon: It's kind of crazy. I've loved you for so long until one day I don't know how to love you anymore.

Vilu: (Came close to him) No Leon, listen to me. You've just been alone for so long. Now that I'm here, I'm sure things would change.

Leon: Will it? Because I don't feel anything right now.

Vilu: So if I kissed you, you wouldn't feel anything?

Leon: (Shook his head) I don't know.

Vilu: (Kept quiet)

Leon: What are you gonna do?

Vilu: (Came closer and pulled him into a 5 second kiss before pulling away)

Leon: (Shook his head) I can't feel it.

Vilu: (Took a step backwards in shock) Excuse me. (Went out)

Violetta ran all the way down and rushed out of the house going into the backyard near the pool and began dialing.

Angie: (Stirring coffee for herself when she heard the house phone ring) OLGA, pick up the phone. I think someone's calling.

~No answer~

Angie: (Sighed and went and picked it up herself) Hello?

Vilu: Angie...

Angie: (Smiled excitedly) Vilu, my love. Oh, I'm so glad you called. I heard about your success. I'm so proud of you.

Vilu: Angie, I need to talk to you.

Angie: Oh, what's it about?

Vilu: It's about Leon.

Angie: Leon?

Later

Vilu: (Crying) I broke him Angie.

Angie: What, what?

Vilu: He told me he doesn't know how to love me anymore.

Angie: What?! He told you that?!

Vilu: He said he loved me for so long and now he doesn't know how to love me anymore. (Crying)

Angie: Hang on Vilu, give him some time.

Vilu: I DID! I gave him 3 years time away from me. And this is what happens. I broke him Angie. I broke Leon Vargas.

Angie: (Kept quiet)

German: (Came and smiled) Ah, there's my sweet angel. Angie told me you were coming back. How was the tour?

Angie: (Shook her head at him)

German: (Confused) What's wrong? What happened?

Angie: Leon told her that he doesn't know how to love her anymore.

German: He what?! Oh, I am SO going to have a talk with THAT GUY!

Vilu: No dad, this is all my fault. I left him alone for so long that's why. He surprisingly didn't go out and mingle with any girls but instead he suffered alone.

Angie: You wanted him to mingle with other girls?

Vilu: No, but he wouldn't have been lonely like this don't you think?

Angie: He would've been lonely regardless. And you wanna know why?

Vilu: Why...?

Angie: Because you were not there with him everyday to say "hello", or "good morning", or ask what he's been up to or simply just be there for him to see you. It's like that part of you in his mind is completely missing. He needs that Violetta. He is so used to you.
