After All This Time

I didn't hear my alarm go off this morning. I was in a huge rush to get ready for school. I was hoping the day would go fast because it's Friday, the day for the class field trip. I was hurrying so much, I couldn't really focus easily.

I arrive at school and surprisingly wasn't late either. I rush over to the busses as they're about to leave and then I hear a voice.

"Hey! Where have you been?", it's my friend, Mikayla.

"I got here early this time so I could talk to you but you didn't show up" She told me.

"Sorry that I was late, I didn't hear my alarm go off this morn-"

"ALRIGHT! EVERYONE LOAD UP! LEAVING IN FIVE MINUTES!" Of course I get interrupted by the bus driver as I was explaining to Mikayla.

Just couldn't wait until the day was over. I was not a big fan of field trips. I didn't really like getting out of the house or going anywhere very well know where a lot of people go to.

We are going to the science museum. The only thing I'm interested there was the star show. Ever since I was little I would lay in the back of the truck because I just loved gazing up at the stars. I had to choose the star show or other science activities so of course I chose the star show.

During the show it's like being in outer space. Seeing falling stars, meteors, galaxies, and more. Just looking at the stars is so peaceful to me, it calms me down and helps me to just relax.

Out of no where and unexpectedly, the guy who always watches me, Mason, decides to pick the one seat next to me. I tried moving but the show manager said to get back in my seat. I was very uncomfortable when he's sitting by me.

Mason tried starting a conversation, "So, you like stars, huh?"

"If I didn't then why would I be watching the 'Star Show'"? I was hoping he wouldn't talk.

"We should do this often and see if things escalate, if you know what I mean" Then he puts his arm around me and I immediately jump out of my seat.

Thankfully the manager actually saw what happen. She came over and asked if he was bothering me and yes he was. She kindly let me move to a different seat farthest from Mason. Ugh, so relieved to get away from that freak.

After a couple of hours later, the show was finally over and the class started to go meet up at the eating area for lunch. Me and Mikayla sat with each other, ate, and talked. I told her what happened during the show. I actually think the day has been going well, other than what happened with Mason. The only thing left to do is head back to school from the city, which is a long drive and that's why we leave after lunch.
