The first day was long and irritating. Everyone was trying to make friends with me. I thought today I’d be the new girl who sat by herself while people talked behind her back. But it seemed everyone wanted to be friends with me because they knew my name. Caitlin Alexander. Not Caitlin Alexander, Aussie chick. But Caitlin Alexander, Louis Tomlinson’s cousin... I was known for all the wrong reasons in my mind.

I walked out the front of the school to meet Louis. I spotted him and got in his car quickly before someone came to attack us.

“Hey, how was your first day?” he sounded unusually happy

“OMG YOUR CAITLIN ALEXANDER RIGHT?” I mimicked everyone

“Aw really? I’m sorry. Want to switch to home-schooling?”

“No, no it’s fine” I laughed

“You must be popular then?” he smiled

“Yeah, but they’re not my friends”

“Who are your friends?”

“Well I went to take a breath behind the main building to get away from everyone where I found a bunch of nerdy looking girls sitting down eating lunch. I asked them if I could sit and they were so nice.”

“That’s the sweetest thing girly! Your turning into a mature woman” he laughed like crazy after finishing that sentence

“Thanks?” I smiled “So we headed where?”

“To Liam’s” he nodded

“No way, just go home. I’m not in the mood for him and especially Niall.” I rolled my eyes

“Don’t be like that. They’re apologizing. This is big for them because they’ve spent all day editing a song.” Louis seamed angry now

“Song?”

“A new one Harry wrote. It was his turn this month”

“Any good?” I was interested because Harry was involved

“I think it is” Lu emphasised on the ‘I’ for some reason flaring his nostrils like an idiot. We stopped talking after that.

We pulled out the front of Liam’s apartment. He’d moved in a few months ago with Danielle

“Be nice” Louis opened the door directing me inside

“I’ll try my best” I put on a stupid voice

“Caitlin!” Zayn ran up and hugged me. I kind of hugged back, sort of

“I said be cool Z” Liam crunched up his face. “Cait before I say any...” I cut him off

“No, before anyone says anything. You pinkie promised! That’s something we’ve had for years. You broke it and even worse you!” I walked over to Niall. “Why would you tell him? Is it because of something I’ve done? Why do you guys hate me so much?” Louis came over and hugged me. Tears were building up in my eyes. My brothers were destroying my love life.

“We don’t hate you” Niall said softly and sweetly

“Not at all” Liam walked closer

“We’re protecting you. We love you and care about you as much as Harry does and Louis” Zayn squeezed my arm “We’ve all known you since before we became a band. You knew Liam 2 years ago, Niall when you two went to kindergarten together and me since me and Harry came to Aus.”

“Then why’d you tell him?” My voiced cracked

“I’m going to be completely honest with you” Liam held out his pinkie but I didn’t accept

“The only reason we told him, was because, he had writers block.” Niall took a tiny step back. I felt Louis grip on my get tighter. It’s like he knew I would have tackled Niall and Liam if I could

“W r i t t e r s. B l o c k” I spaced out pronouncing it perfectly in a super angry voice

“I’m so sorry” Liam actually had a tear coming down the side of his face as he hugged me

“We ruined it. And we are so sorry. We don’t deserve your forgiveness” Niall joined out hug

“If it does help, we spoke to him” Zayn sounded hesitant standing next to us all. Louis slapped him hard on his arm with an angry face

“WHAT DID HARRY SAY?” I jumped out of the hug feeling relieved. I looked at Lu who was rolling his eyes at Zayn

“Great work dip thong” Lu paced back and forward to the door and to me with his hands above his head. “They spoke to him but...”

“He said you still cheated on him” Liam interrupted as he took the blame from the others

“Oh” I picked up my jacket I had dropped on the floor, pulled Louis out the door and got in the car.
