The deadline of Dawson's movie was almost here, and considering he was way behind schedule, he was really stressed. He was outside by the creek holding his camera up in front of Pacey and Joey and beside him stood Izzy. They were filming one of the movies most important scenes. The kissing scene.
Joey and Pacey were both following the script, but just when the kiss was about to happen Joey pulled away.
"What? Come on! What?" Pacey yelled at the camera. Dawson quickly yelled cut and put down his camera. "Sorry Dawson, but he's just too repelling," Joey explained. "Joey, it's a part of the movie. You're gonna have to kiss him," Izzy spoke up.
Joey sent her an annoyed look before she turned her attention back to Dawson. "I will not kiss that cretin," Joey protested. "Well, you're missing out," Pacey smirked. Dawson looked at Izzy for help. Izzy shrugged.
"It's a love story," he said after he had thought for a while. Joey raised her brows. "It's a horror movie." "It's an homage with a heavy allegorical slant," he began before he turned to Izzy and Pacey, "could you two give us a moment?" Izzy nodded as they made their way up to the driveway.
After several minutes of silent and uncomfortable staring, Pacey spoke. "So did your talk to Will last night?" Izzy's eyes widened a little bit. "That's really none of your business, Pacey," she said avoiding the question.
The truth was that Izzy was going to, but chickened out as soon as she arrived at his house. The more Izzy though about, the happier she got she didn't talk to him. From now on she weren't going to force things to happen, they should happen by their self.
"I'm guessing you didn't talk to him," Pacey stated. "I decided not to force anything. Besides I can't speak with him before I even know what I want" Izzy looked at Pacey who as extremely confused.
"So you haven't spoken to him in two weeks?" He asked. "That's correct, but before you start to get all judgy," she began, but was interrupted by Pacey. "I think that's great." Izzy's mouth almost dropped to the ground. "What now?"
"I've been thinking and I don't think he's the best influence on you," he explained. Izzy was still in shock. Last week he had way different thoughts about Will and her, but she couldn't exactly argue since she agreed with him. "I'm glad we're on the same page then," Izzy stated.
"How'd it go with Tamara?" Pacey was about to answer, but got interrupted by Dawson. "I don't think will be getting anyway today, so you guys can go home," Dawson said miserable.
----
Izzy stood by her locker finding her books for the next period, when she suddenly heard a familiar voice. "Long time, no talk," the voice said.Izzy spun around and saw Will standing there. "Will? Hey. Yeah, I've been like super busy," she said as she pulled him into a hug. "Yeah, I've noticed," he told her. Izzy looked down feeling guilty. "Anyways, the dance coming up," he began.
