Lisa was shook awake, someone was breathing heavily on her face. She opened her eyes with strength. It was her father looking down on her with an exasperated expression on his face.
"Oh thank goodness, I thought you were dead. There's a letter for you." He held it up. Lisa examined it. Cream with red wax to seal it. On the other side was writing, in black ink, addressed to her:
Lisa Dippet
First room on the 2nd floor
12 Butterwood Place
Blackbury
Oxford
"What is it?" she yawned tediously. Stretching her arms.
"I'll tell once you get downstairs and eat." Mr Dippet replied, stroking her mangy hair before going downstairs. Hopefully, Lisa peered toward her desk to see if her father had left the letter. He hadn't.
"Curiosity is an amazing thing." she thought aloud, clambering out of bed.
Tingling with excitement, Lisa got dressed and went downstairs to eat breakfast. Jumping with exhilaration, she skipped into the kitchen. Mr Dippet faced her with a frying pan full of scrambled eggs and glass of water. He placed the water on to the table and put the eggs in a plate. Smiling Lisa tapped her feet on the floor and tripped into her seat. Her father sat opposite her. The television murmured softly in the background. Lisa's shoulders bounced, her excitement could not held within her.
"So, can I have my letter now?"
"First, I need you to know this. You are aware kind of person your grandfather was, as am I," Lisa nodded impatiently. "Ah, so here you are." He handed her the honey toned envelope. Lisa reached out and grabbed it, greedily. Examining the front, her smile widened. The top right corner had small crest, consisting of the colours; red, green, yellow and blue. Animals were encrusted on each individual colour: A lion on the red, a snake on the green, a badger on the yellow and an eagle on the blue.
"Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus? What does that mean?" She looked up, bewildered.
"Never tickle a sleeping dragon." Mr Dippet replied in amusement. Lisa raised her eyebrows and smiled: "How peculiar."
"Well, Hogwarts isn't a normal place."
Lisa shrugged and tore open the letter. Her eyes were a blur as she read the parchment inside.

Lisa glanced up at her father, who was grinning proudly. She bit her lip, trying not to get over-excited at the realization that she was a witch. Mr Dippet caught her eye.
"Is your equipment list in there?" he asked.
"Yes, it's here." gently, Lisa reached into the envelope, pulled out another piece of parchment and continued reading.
