"Let's see how I can divide them. Hmmm, maybe I should....no, no. Wait a second they're injured! Yes! I can use that as an advantage. I just have to wait for their wounds to cause them to break then, I'll add a little of panic to the mix then boom they'll scatter like grains of rice thrown into the wind" said the creature gleefully.

Finally the trio had to stop stumbling around because time and stress allowed Philly and Alyk wounds to speak their protest.

"I guess we should rest for tonight. If its even nighttime. I can barely see what's around so I can't tell what's above me. Stupid fog" grumbled Quinn.

"Yea we should before out injuries open up again. And we don't want any blood attracting unwanted guess. I think I have enough annoying company" sighed Philly.

"Hey that's rude!"yelled Quinn.

"Geez shut up. All you've done since we found you is yap, whine, complain and oh did I say yap?! If we get attacked it's because of your big mouth. Now  I've been trying to be the good cop here but your pushing me to the edge of my patience. So just shut it. Shut it I say!" Alyk whispered fiercely.

"I was just..."said Quinn.

"Shh!"-Alyk

"I was..."-Quinn

"Shhhh"-Alyk

"I..."-Quinn

"I said SHHHHHHHHHHH!" shrieked Alyk.

"Eww you spit" giggled Philly.

"Whatever let's just settle down" snapped Alyk.

Quickly they gathered materials to build a make-shift shelter. Always making sure the never strayed far from each other.

"Time to put my plan into action. I guess I should start the division process with the snarky one called Philly.  Yes he seems to be the strongest link. Without him the others will be hopeless. All right their backs are turned against him. Time to divide. Ok... ok...NOW!" mumbled the monster.

It was their brief mistake to turn their backs on Philly that led to a tragic downfall. For as soon as they turned their backs, the same mysterious monster that started this snatched Philly. Just as he expected, Philly let out a cry. But it was too late. It was too late the second Alyk and Quinn turn their backs. They were divided. And it would be that way for a long, long time.
