Today was the first day of my high school career. It was a little scary for me at first; however, after lunch I was fine. That was when I found my best friend, Sophie. I seriously missed her sooo much over the summer. I nearly forgot how beautiful she was; perfect long brown hair, with a cute little nose, ohh, and then her eyes. They are greenish blue, and when the light hits them just so, I swear you can see the stars in them as the angels sing praises on high.
After school, Sophie and I walked home to have time to catch up with each other.
She went to Europe over the summer, and she told me all about the amazing food she ate. All the beautiful views she saw. She even told me about the ancient architecture and the famous original pieces of artwork she saw.
I seriously doubt I will ever be able to go. My mom left us when I was younger, so it's just me and my dad. He's a surgeon and so his job keeps him at work, a lot. He keeps promising to take me, but something always comes up that prevents us from going. So to pass my time I paint, read, or talk to Sophie.
But, yeah, so I survived today. I just hope I'll be able to make it through the rest of this year. ;)
