After Natemare said that I get a slap. Dark watches me with a smirk. I look at Ash.

"What if Anti comes back?" She asks. Just as she did she vanished.

"ASH!!!!" Dark yells. I have never heard him so terrified. But as she had vanished I could hear Anti's laugh almost like it was eveywhere. I get released.

"Run. Run away and hide." Natemare whispers. I shake.

"But... what if. What if he finds me?" I whisper. He hugs me. My eyes widen.

"Maybe a demon can learn to love. If this is my only chance to love.... then I don't want to lose it." He says. He lets me go and pushes me out the door.

"Find Nate. He can protect you. I e ill come back. I promise." He yells as I run. I feel the tears in my eyes start to overrun and fall down my face as I run. Natemare.... You better keep that promise.

-years time-

I am sitting with Nate. Every night I would pray that Natemare is okay. I would pray that Ash is okay. Dark too.

"I'm going to get dinner ready. Do want to help me?" Nate asks me. I look at him and nod. I jump when I hear the sound of the news calling out a warning.

"A massacre has just happened. There appears to be two figures shrouded by smoke. A town has been slaughtered and burned to the ground by these two figures." The news lady says. Nate quickly sits and watches. I see the taller figure wrap it's arm around the waist of the smaller and then disappear.

"No! Could that be...."

"Anti and Ash?" I gasp and turn to see Natemare standing there. Dark looks rather upset.

"We might be too late." Dark whispers.

"Sit down you two. You probably need something to drink." Nate says hurriedly and runs to the kitchen. I watch them sit down. I give Dark a huge hug.

"Maybe I can get her back." I tell him.

"It's dangerous. I can't put you in that situation." Natemare quickly protests. I look at him.

"Obviously I can handle nasty wounds. It was because of you as well." I say as I sit next to him. He quickly pulls me in a hug.

-more time skips-

I watch in horror at the sight of the town. They are but two beings. How the hell did they do this!? Ash is but a mere human.

"Okay. Either Ash was forced against her will to help or Anti has some how conditioned her into helping. I don't even want to think of the worse scenario." I shudder at the thought of Ash even being a demon.

"If he did. I'm beating his ass." Dark growls. I look at him with a ton of sympathy. He had the one thing he probably loved taken from him in mere seconds. It's unfair to him. I'm just grateful Nate was able to keep me safe.

"Hey!! We made it!" I hear voices behind me. I see Mark and Jack. Jack looks so sad.

"(Y/n). Dark.... I'm so sorry! I had no idea he would do this." He looked about ready to burst into tears. I quickly hug him.

"It's nit your fault. You can't help how he acts. What he does." I tell him. Mark rubs Jack's back as he sobs. He feels so bad and it makes my heart clench. Natemare walks over and gives us both a hug.

"I'm sorry, Jack. I should've stopped him before any of this happened." Natemare tells him. I see everyone look at Natemare. Hearing him give sympathy is not normal. Him being a sadistic prick, it's not common to hear sympathy.

"We will get back Ash, Dark." Mark says and takes his hand in his in lifts it up as a sign of compassion. I can tell. Mark and Dark both love her. She's lucky to have someone who cares for her alot.
