CHERRY VALANCE

MICKEYS POV
I slid under the fence that all of us greaser crawl through to get into the movie theater so we don't have to pay.

I then turned and helped Pony and Johnny slide under also we walked toward our seats.

When we sat down then a soc named Cherry Valance and her friend sat down right in front of us.

Pony has a huge crush on Cherry but only I know about it.

Then Dally decided to say" aye some cute redhead huh" whyll nudging me and got real close to Cherry .

"Damn it I forgot my jacket" Pony said shivering.

I gave him the brown leather one I was wearing.

"Thanks Mickey" pony said.

Then we heard Cherry scream"get your feet off my chair and shut your trap".

"Ok ok I'll go I know when I'm not wanted" Dally said.

Once Dally left Cherry  turned around and noticed us.

"You gonna start on us to" Cherry said.

"No" Pony responded.

"Yes you don't look it either" Cherry said.

"What's y'all's names?" she asked us.

"I'm Mickey" I said.

"I'm  Johnny" Johnny said.

And "I'm ponyboy" pony said.

"What y'all doing hanging with garbage like that?" Cherry asked.

"Hey were greasers and were all friends ok" I said annoyed.

"I'm sorry I didn't know" Cherry apologized.

"How bout you two boys come up here to protect us " Cherry siad.

"What do you think Mickey?" Pony asked.

"I don't think that's a good idea were ok back here thanks "I told Cherry .

"Ok then  " cherry said turning back around.

After Two-bit came and sat with us for the rest of the movie. Eventually Pony and Johnny decided to sit next to Cherry and Marcia. Me and Two-bit sat behind them

Once the movie was done we decided to be nice and walk Cherry and Marcia home. It was Two-bit's  idea so we just went along with it.

We were walking when I heard the engine of a car behind us and looked back to see a blue mustang but, not any blue mustang it was bob's mustang.

"Pony and Johnny get behind me" I said.
"Marcia" Cherry said worried.
"Oh great the bad boys are here" I said rolling my eyes.

"Oh no what are we gonna do now" Marcia said concerned.

"It's ok I will handle it " I said to them.

"What are you doing ?"Bob said angry.

"Just because we got a little drunk doesn't  me-" Bob started saying but cherry cut him off.

"A little drunk,  you call passing out in the middle of the street a little drunk" cherry screamed towards Bob.

"That's no reason to walk in the streets with these bums" Randy argued.

"Hey at least we're not schoolboy soc's   " I said to Randy and Bob.

"Listen little girl we got two more of us in the backseat" Randy said trying to scare me.

"I'm not a little girl "I said Then I slowly put my hand in my back pocket and grabbed my blade

"Pity the backseat" Two-bit said taking out his switch blade and putting it to Randy's neck then throwing a glass bottle to Ponyboy.

I decided to walk right up to him
I grabbed him by the collar and whispered in his ear "watch your back" and then shoved him away

I walked over to Johnny and pony getting infront of them.
"I would watch it if I were you" I told them .
"Stop fighting well go with you" cherry pleaded.

"Were not scared of these bastards" Two-bit said to cherry.

"I can't stand fights ok just wait" Cherry said.

"Mickey and Pony can you come over here" Cherry called walking a little bit farther forward.

We followed her.

"Thank you guys for this but I'll be ok and if I don't say hi to at school please don't be offended" Cherry said to Pony.

"and Mickey thank you for all this I'm sorry about Bob" Cherry said.

"Here call me if you need a place to stay if Bob gets too out of hand" I said handing Cherry my number.

"I think will be great friends even though you're a soc " I told Cherry.

Then her, Marcia, randy and bob left.

We then all walked home and all Pony talked about was how worried he was about Cherry.
