(Y/D/N)- Your Daughter's Name

The cries echoed on the baby monitor, placed by your bedside table. You couldn't do another sleepless night. It seemed like all your daughter did was cry fom the day you brought her home. She was  a huge daddy's girl. You turned to face your husband, tapping him lightly.
"Juzo it's your turn to calm her down." You mumbled through the pillow. You felt the warmth of your partner leave you as he stood up to take care of your baby girl. You could hear the door of the room open through the monitor. The quiet whispers of your husband as he attempted to comfort (Y/D/N). You could hear Juzo humming softly, probably rocking your little girl back to sleep. Although he may seem all rough and tough, Juzo was a good man. He had always vowed to protect you, even through what horrible things befell you. Now that you had (Y/D/N), he was more protective now than ever. Constantly checking up on you and making sure you were okay. He valued your life more than his own. You sat back, thinking about the future when the monitor went unusually quiet. You sat up quickly, rushing out of the room and down the hall twords the nursery. You opened the door to find Juzo in the small rocking chair in the corner of the room, holding (Y/D/N) in his arms. He looked almost peaceful as he held her, rocking gently as to not wake her. You smiled, seeing your little family. It wouldn't be long now. Soon Juzo would be asleep right alongside (Y/D/N). The next thing you know your little girl would be going off to school and making friends, growing right before your eyes. You shook your head, not wanting to worry about it for now. You were about to leave the room when Juzo spoke.
"You know she looks just like you."
You blushed, moving closer to the sleeping baby in his arms.
"It's true. She's just as beautiful."
Juzo slowly stood up, motioning for you to take (Y/D/N). She squirmed a little as Juzo passed her over to you. You cradled your daughter close, holding her tightly.
"She's destined to do something great (Y/N)" Juzo smiled, watching as you held (Y/D/N). You sighed, looking at him.
"I feel like I'll blink and she'll be gone."
He chuckled at the statement, coming behind you, rubbing your back.
"Trust me (Y/N) I feel the same way."
You slowly put (Y/D/N) in her crib, trying not to wake her now that she was asleep again. You took a moment to look at your husband, going over to embrace him.
"I love you (Y/N)" Juzo smiled, rubbing your back, pressing a kiss to your forehead.
You wouldn't trade this for a single thing.
