**Narrator**
Dreama rode hard to get to the castle in time to get Triston to the healer, she knew he was getting weaker from the loss of blood. She kept her hand on his that was around her waist to prevent him from falling off from behind her, as she had the horse at a full gallop. Once she arrived at the castle she ordered the men to carefully get him off the horse and then ordered them to carry him up to her chambers while calling for the healer to come treat his injury. She looked to him when she heard his groan as he was lifted off the horse, she reached and touched his face gently before he was taken into the castle. She could see the pain in his eyes when the men lifted him off the horse.
Dreama followed them into the castle to her chambers, she stood beside the bed as they gently laid him on the soft bed. Triston groaned again, and feeling it to her heart she reached to touch his handpaw gently. " You are going to be alright we have one of the best healers out there so don't worry Tristson."
***Triston's POV**
I didn't know what to think when Dreama had jumped on to my horse in front of me and pulled my arms around her waist, I had felt comforted by her touch through the pain I was feeling. I knew if she hadn't done that I wouldn't have made it to the castle without falling off my horse. When we got there and the men pulled me off the horse I couldn't hold in the groan from the pain I was feeling at the movement, but the feel of her hand on my face comforted me. I can't explain why I feel so much better at her touch even though I barely know the woman. I wanted to know that she was safe, and I could see that she was alright only blood I saw was mine I could tell from the smells wafting into my nose.
I wanted to protest about me being placed in her chambers I know we were to be married within the next two weeks but that still wasn't proper for me to be in her room just yet, but I wasn't strong enough to deny her command, though I will talk to her about it once I have had some rest. Groaning when they laid me on the bed because it moved my side some where the wound was, I had my eyes closed when I felt her hand on my handpaw, and looked towards her, her soft words soothed me and I knew she was more than just a woman the king had ordered me to marry but a woman I could grow to love and have a family with. I closed my eyes again when she spoke it was like music in my ears.
Then the pain of having my armour and clothing removed caused me to wince so badly, and I growled a bit as well against the pain. Dreama's soft voice was there once again soothing me, "I know Triston let us get some pressure to stop the bleeding and you will have something for the pain." I could only answer with a yelp and groan feeling something pressing against my wound, I barely responded when she lifted my head to force me to drink something to sooth my pain. After that I don't remember much of anything.
**Dreama's POV**
I sighed seeing that the pain reliever was kicking in and he was going to be resting while the healer treated his wound. Hearing his groans and seeing his faced eched in the pain tore at my heart. I was letting this knight come into my life and into my heart in such a short amount of time I wasn't sure what to think, but I knew with his actions against those bandits today was showing he was defently strong I know if he wasn't so tired from having just traveled as far as he had he wouldn't have been wounded.
I sat at his side on the edge of the bed until the healer was through with sewing him up and bandaging his wounds, once the healer was finished she told me to go get cleaned up myself that he would be asleep for a while so I wouldn't have to worry. I nodded and left the chamber and cleaned up, then I walked to go speak to my captian of the guard about what had happened after I left with Triston.
I spoke with him and told him to speak to the prisoners in the morning after they had some rest along with the rest of the men who fought, and to ensure that the prisoners had something to eat and drink and to ensure that they had blankets. I know what you are thinking why would I be like that to men who were part of the group who had injured Triston, but I wouldn't stoop to their level and I know he wouldn't want me to either. Don't ask me how I knew that but I knew he had a gentle and kind nature under that rough exterior.
After I spoke to my men and worked everything out from the attack from the bandits, I walked slowly up to my chambers again. I smiled softly as I looked down at Triston who was still sleeping peacefully, I was relieved that he wasn't hurting at the moment, so I changed into my sleeping gown and laid down on the other side of the bed. If he would awake I would be there for him.
