5 months later

JACK'S POV

Me: "Sophia?"

Sophia: "Yeah Jack?"

Me: "These 5 months have been incredible with you."

She smiled. We were at Jimmy John's waiting in line to order. It was just me and her. I finally asked her on a date.

Yeah, I accepted that I had to restart with Sophia. It took me time but now I'm ready to be there for her again. I just don't know what to tell her about the Britt situation. I know it was months.

5 MONTHS AGO AT THE HOSPITAL

Me: "Heighlee... I have to tell you something... I know it's the worse timing with everything happening..."

Heighlee: "Oh god Jack I don't need anymore bad news."

Me: "Heighlee listen... Britt.. She... kissed me and..... ikissedbackfor1.5seconds...."

Heighlee: "WHAT? Are you fucking kidding me Jack Avery? While Sophia AND YOUR GIRLFRIEND OF TWO YEARS was lost you decided TO KISS BRITT? That should be the last fucking girl you should've known to kiss Jack. You knew what Britt did to Sophia and you decided to do that?"

Me: "I know.... I shouldn't have... I was lost in the thought of Sophia and Britt's lips was on mine and I thought it was Sophia's. I wasn't thinking right... I'm so sorry..."

Heighlee: "Look, I know.. It was hard for you... It was even harder for me... You shouldn't be saying sorry to me. It's Sophia."

BACK TO REALITY

Sophia was holding onto me. Fuck, my mind went back to the memories of our first kiss.. She was looking at me with her soft brown eyes. I couldn't help it. I leaned in and kissed her.

When we disconnected our lips, it was our turn to order.

Me: "Hey umm let me order for us.."

She let me go and I went to order.

SOPHIA'S POV

My head was spinning. My vision was so blurry and slow. I couldn't make out where I was. Then memories of the concert raced through my head. It was going to fast. The smell of fire, I was fighting for my life to be free from whoever was trying to get me, and then... a single shot.... headed towards Jack.

I fell to my knees. I was crying. A pair of hands was grabbing me from behind.

Me: "GET OFF OF ME LET ME GO LEAVE JACK ALONE."

Jack: "Sophia... Sophiaaa. SOPHIA... i'm here calm down."

I turned fast in disbelief. I was breathing fast and hard. Then I saw him. His face was scared and his brown eyes just stared at me. I cried on Jack's chest.

Me: "Oh my gosh babe... it was a dream again... babe..."

Jack: "Wait what...?? Sophia what are you saying?"

I was so confused. Why isn't he calling me babe or baby?

Me: "Baby.. we were in the tour.. the last day... Fire started and I was being grabbed... then you got shot.. OH MY GOD YOU GOT SHOT."

I looked at his arm to see the bullet. There it was a scar.

Me: "What?"

Jack: "Wait baby...?"

Me: "Yes babe."

Jack was crying. Why was he crying. Oh my gosh what???

Me: "B- babe hey, stop you're fine."

I pulled him back to my arms. I told the lady that they can keep the order and the money. I took Jack outside. Jack looked at me. A single tear went down his face. Then he came up and kissed me. Hard and passionate.

Jack: "Do you remember everything from the concert?"

Me: "Babe that was just a dream?"

Jack: "No babe, it actually happened the scar you saw on my arm was the bullet. Then I got surgery to take it out."

Me: "What?"
