"Any news of the rogues?"

"No, not as much as we hoped for sir," the pack warrior bowed in respect," All we know for certain is that they are near our borders and staying there."

"Typical rogues waiting for their chance to get the right opportunity to attack," Jack rolled his eyes.

"I suggest we should confront the leader of the rogues," Patricia said impatiently, kicking the wall in front of her.

We are at my office forming a plan of attack when they do. A group of strong, trusted wolves are watching the rogues movement as we speak so I calmed down a bit. But I really want to go and rip all their heads off, but I bet they be expecting that," That be wasting our time Patricia. They are after one thing only and they aren't going to leave with out it."

"Sorry if I offended you jeez," she raised her hand in surrender," But isn't it odd that rogues are waiting and not simply attacking right now. I at least expected at least one rogue to sneak up and do something but NOTHING. I believe they already have a plan and we are like sitting ducks right now. We didn't even expect them to be here shortly in just a week in a half. So clearly they have the advantage right now, but what are they waiting for."

I growled frustrated that she was right, and it's been two days of them just doing nothing but wait. What are they up to? And to top it off Sky is acting strange around everyone after the day we had a decent conversation in the kitchen. Not strange as she's up to something strange like always. In surprise she is doing the complete opposite and is acting much like a Luna would. Taking care of the children and others and being of authority around here when I'm gone. At first I thought that maybe she is worried, but something tells me different like she's in a deep thought and something concerns her. Sometimes she shuts me out and that what pisses me off that I would somewhat yell what is her problem. But all she would do is keep saying," I'm just worried," or," I need to help someone with something." Is she mad at me? it sure felt like it, and I don't like that feeling. Maybe I should apologize when I have the time too. I just want her back in my arms again, not caring if it last for a measly second.

"Alpha," Patricia asked.

"What!" I yelled which scared the sh*t out of everyone in the room. I sighed and tried to loosen up a bit," For now we watch closely and in one slight move they make we will not hesitate to attack. They aren't getting 300 feet from here."

They nodded in agreement and stood quiet when Sky came in.

She brought us coffee and looked at everyone except me which ticks me off but stood quiet," Sorry if I'm interrupting your guys meeting.."

Patricia looked at me and her fully knowing the situation and she waved her hand to come," No of course not, come in."

"I just thought I give you guys coffee since clearly all of you stood up all night preparing and all," she smiled and gave coffee to everyone and surprisingly me.

We said thanks and I said," All of you may be excused to do your business..."

Everyone bowed except for Sky and began leaving

I stopped Sky by grabbing her hand," Not you,"

She stood there not looking at me for a few second and decided to turn and do that fake smile of hers this time," You need something?"

"Yes, in all honesty this time what the hell is going on with you!" I growled and it seemed to frighten her.

"Nothing really, I'm just trying to be in my best behavior and cause less trouble for everyone and especially you," She looked down all serious.
