Before everything - Adam

Hey, I'm Adam Posey, I'm 25 years ols and I live in Los Angeles, California with my girlfriend Christina Hale. We had been living together for 4 years now, and I would like to propose to her, because I wanna stay next to the woman I love forever.

For that, I've been saving money to buy the perfect ring! And finally, today I found it, I just need to wait for the perfect moment.

Today, 1 of august, it's our birthday, and Christina now is in her parents house, about 2 km from here, not too far away. Maybe when she come back it'll be a good moment!

- Hey honey, I'm home! Sorry I'm a little bit late, my father had bought a new phone and I was helping him to install WhatsApp, you know.

- Don't worry it's okay - I smiled - How are you?

- Tired, so tired... What time is it?

- Now it's... - I looked for the hour on my watch - Half past nine.

- I will prepare dinner.

- Don't worry, get some rest, I will do it.

- Thanks baby - she kissed me.

I walked to the kitchen, I opened the built-in wardrobe ontop of the cooker and I looked for something to eat. I saw some chicken wings, rice, potatoes and pasta. I grabed the pasta and the chicken and I went to the living room.

- Baby would you like pasta or chicken wings?

- Chicken! - she looked at me - I really like it.

- Sure.

I walked again to the kitchen and start preparing our dinner. I get out some jam too, and I eated meanwhile I prepared the chicken. 30 minutes later, I put it in a plate, and I layed the table, I taked out some wine and water, put the glasses on the table and the covered.

- Baby it's ready! - I shouted.

- Coming! - she answered.

She come to the kitchen, and sit on her hair.

- You looked so tired - I confirmed.

- Yeah... Last night I didnt slept so well...

- Why? - I wanted to know.

- I recieved a strange message.

- From who?!

- Laura... -  she start saying.

- Laura Bancoubert?! - I shouted.

- Adam! - she stand up - don't shout like that! It's almost half past ten!

- I'm sorry, what did the message say?

- Look - she went closer to me and show me her phone, with the message of Laura - She send me this yesterday at nine o'clock.

I read the message - "Hey Chris, I need your help with some stuff, and I also need Adam". That's not strange...

- But one hours later, at ten o'clock she send me this; "Chris and Adam you have 1 hour to answer me or you will regret!". And I already was sleeping already so I couldn't answer her, so then, one hour later at eleven o'clock she send me this; "You choose, I will take you against your will, get prepared". - She looked at me.

Suddenly, we heard a car noise from outside of the house, I opened the door to look who it was at that time and I saw 3 men dressed with black clothes and firearms on both hands running to us, I closed the door as fast as I could, taked Christina's hand and run upstairs.

- Babe, what the hell?!

- Shut up! - that made her worry

I put Christina inside our wardrobe and I hide myself under the bed, next to her, listening.

The 3 mens broke inside our bedroom, looking at the toilet, then at the trunk, and one of them went directly to the wardrobe, he would find Chris, so I get off my hiding place.

- Okay! I'm here! - I rased my hands.

That didn't work, the man open the wardrobe door anyways and aimed a gun at my girlfriend's head.

- No! No please! I'm here! Kill me, take me, let her!!! - I shouted.

- Adam no! - she was crying.

Two of them walk to me and take me outside of the house. I heard Christina shouting and a shoot, and then, nothing, slience...

- No! Christina! Christina! No please baby! - I start crying - Christina!!! - I shouted with all my strength, but no one answered me.

The men that were with me put me inside their car, forcibly.

Inside of the car, I started asking them if Chris was dead, I shouted, screamed... But the only thing that they give me was a blow to the head with one of the guns, and I fall fainted on the sit.
