KIANA
I stick my tongue out at Conner. His hazel eyes shimmer with amusement. Jamie, Kendra, Alex and Kira laugh.
"Alright Kiana, I have something for you." He says with a warm smile.
I roll my eyes but with a smile and jump down, landing with a crouch. Someone muttered 'show off' and the others snickered. I looked at Conner with expectant eyes. He grabs my wrist and pulls me closer then pulls out a black box.
"Happy one year anniversary babe." He gives it to me.
I grin a face splitting grin and open it. Inside was a necklace with 'Diosa' encrusted on a golden slate. Diosa is Spanish for goddess. I look up and hug him. He pulls away and plants his lips on mine. The others cheered.

I pull my hoodie over my head, shielding my mane of red waves. It was dark and the streets were empty. The cool evening breeze nipped at my skin. Just then, two creatures landed in front of me. They were awful, they had grey withered skin, beady eyes, small pointy teeth and ears, bony structures and balding heads with very few strands of grey hair. They each wore lion cloth loosely around their waists.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't the little element." The first said, his voice was really throaty.
"Damon would reward us richly if we bring her to him." The second said with a raspy voice.
"I don't know what you are or who Damon is but you're not getting your sick hands on this sweet little ass." I said with a smirk before taking off.
They were freakishly fast. But not fast enough. I cut through an alley, the one that lead to back of the buildings on Oakley Street. The street that Reddington Academy was on. I spot the wall and climb to the top. The creatures relentlessly followed me. I shuffled to the side and jumped down, before running in the opposite direction. I glanced back and saw the creatures were still hot on my heels. The adrenaline coursed through my veins as I zipped through the empty streets. One of them got close enough to lash out at me, tearing my hoodie and pulling it off my head. Idiots, it was my favourite hoodie. I leaped over a fire hydrant and they ran into it. I stopped to catch my breath and laugh at them. Soon they recovered, their eyes were red with rage and their teeth dripped saliva. Their bony chests heaved as they stalked towards me. I had lost all my energy. I slowly backed away until my back hit a tree. I was wearing shorts so the skin on my legs scraped against the rough bark. They kept taunting me. Telling me how they were going to scratch me up till they drew blood. How they would feast on me for power. How proud Damon would be if they brought me to him dead. Then I snapped.
"No!" I screamed and rushed forward, ramming my body into both of them.
A bright flash exploded as I hit them and they went flying while I was thrown back and I hit the tree with great force. A searing pain filled my head and left arm as my vision blurred, drifting into unconsciousness. The last thing I see is a familiar guy with a faint orange glow around him jumping down from a wall before I black out.
