By the time school had ended I was sent to the nurse's office for a bandage to cover my cut. Azure disappeared at lunch again and I was left alone in P.E. I got a few looks while walking around, but I payed no mind. I walked to the gate of the high school section of Blue River Academy. Azure was there waiting. She was looking up at the sky while she leaned against the fence. It took me a second to realize Kat was there next to her.

"You were late," Kat walked up to me.

"I know I'm sorry," I pulled out a chocolate from my bag and handed it to her.

"Awsome, sweets!" Kat was quick to unwrap it and stuff it in her mouth, "What's with the bandage?"

"P.E accident," Azure interrupted, " and who are you little girl?"

"I'm Noah's sister," Kat spoke with a tone I'd never really heard before.

"Come on Noah let's go. Your sister can follow behind us," Azure sounded annoyed when she said the word sister.

"Go? Go where?" I never recalled a location.

"Where else. Your house silly," She grabbed my hand.

"Wait you didn't say that part," I was being dragged to my own home.

"Hey wait for me," Kat ran after us.

The walk home was interesting. Kat pestered Azure with questions, but Azure practically ignored her. Not to mention Kat seem to be against the idea of Azure holding my hand.

"I know you lied about the P.E accident," Kat new just what to say to get on someone's bad side.

"Oh really?" Azure replied.

"We're here," I interrupted them to stop the tension.

I opened the door to our little house on our little Cul de Sacs road. Our house was on the side but there was still a lot of space to hang out and run, not to mention the large front and back yards.

"Love the white and blue paint on your walls," Azure Held my hand tighter.

I noticed Azure looking around. I opened the light blue door and let her inside. The wall were painted white in the halls and living room. The kitchen had green walls and the dining room had blue walls.

"So colorful," Azure looked into the bathroom which had orange walls.

"Yeah we never finished our paint jobs," I took out a few drinks and closed the fridge,

"There's probably about 5 different paint jobs on one wall of each room."

"My room has one red wall," Kat said, "Noah's are gray. Pretty plain huh. Don't cha wanna leave now."

"I happen to like gray," Azure said, "Easy to paint over."

My sister stormed out of the room. I handed Azure a glass of water and sat down on the couch. She took a seat next to me.

"She's interesting," Azure said.

"She's not usually like that," I took a sip of my water, "I don't know what's wrong."

We sat there in awkward silence for a while. Azure soon started looking around. I kept her away from the kitchen to avoid her from getting any more ideas. She eventually made it to my room. She made herself comfortable in my bed and I sat down in my desk chair.

"I have an idea," She said, "Why don't you set up your room like a movie theater."

"We could just watch something in the dinning room," I pointed out.

"I've never been to a theater," She said, "But I've seen pictures. The chairs are really close together. And the room is dark while the movies play. We could use your bed as the chairs and your computer for a movie."

"Okay," I replied, Doesn't sound too bad an idea.

"Run me a bath while you set up. That way it's a surprise," she walked over to the door.

"Um... Okay," I lead her to the bathroom and started the bath.

I wound up doing anything Azure told me. Why do I keep doing anything she wants? I wondered as I remade my bed to look like two seats, She's nuts and yet she's still in my head all the time. Why do I still feel concern for her? I gave her one of my dad's old T-shirts to wear once she was out of the bath. She didn't seem interested in actually watching a movie. She just wanted to sit in the seat. I hid the scissors in my room to keep her safe. I made salmon for dinner that night. Kat took the largest piece, I gave Azure the next slice. I ate what was left over. My dad eventually came home, and didn't notice anyone else was around until after he showered and ate.

"Noah, next time call me and ask before you have a friend over," Dad said as he grabbed the xbox one controller, "Come on Kat. Let's kill these idiots."

"Yes!" Kat jumped over onto the couch and grabbed the second remote.

"They'll be into that game for a while. What do you wanna do?" I started rinsing the dishes we had used.

"Let's go on the roof," Azure turned off the faucet and pulled me into my room.

She opened my window And climbed onto the roof. I didn't even look back, I just followed her. I had just pulled my arm over the gutter when she grabbed me and pulled me up. We sat down next to the top of the chimney. The stars lit up the sky with a new moon. You could see the third arm of the milky way. The dark blue around each star faded into a deep blackish purple. The moonlight made Azure's eye glow. Her hair and skin were marvelous in the moonlight. We sat there for a while and watched the stars. Clouds of black would occasionally pass, but the night was mostly clear.

"Can..." I looked down at my feet as Azure looked at me, "can I ask you why you chose me?"

"Because you saw me differently," She leaned against my chest.

"What do mean differently?" I asked, Stupid!

"Hmm," she laughed, "The way you stared. Most guys look at me with lust, or made their ,so called, attractive face. You were more nervous but I just knew you were the one I wanted to keep me from boredom."

"Oh yeah," I looked away, aww man. I'm just a stupid toy to her. Wait why do I care?! She cut me!

Azure got up and stretched. She leaned over the side of the roof. I got up and ran over to her on instinct as she flipped over the side.

"Azure!" I shouted as I looked over the edge.

There she was. Hanging off the rain gutter by her ankles, laughing. Her hair covered my window.

"Come down here," She called.

"Umm..." I was scared, "No thanks. Why don't you come back up here?"

"Oh come on," She pulled herself up and hung herself with her hands and knees now, "Entertain me."

I was nervous but I climbed down beside her.

"The trick is to keep your legs straight and your knees lose," She explained.

This world is full of regular people. Most of them meet, talk, and fall in love. Others are not so lucky. I'm one of these unlucky people, I thought as I hung beside her laughing, Azure I thought this world was boring and dull until you showed up. You seemed to be such an ordinary person and yet... you're right here with me. Hanging by our knees in an ordinary world. I'll accept the accidentally cut, but it'll take me a while to know the rest of you. Please see me as more than your entertainment one day. I will wait until that day. Even if it never comes.
