Chapter: 1 - Prologue -

Scouting Legion had only one objective.

Exterminate all vampires.

Being one of the many members of this nation meant that you came to hate the very existence of these creatures. Everyone had a story and a way of working. The higher-ups would decide who would be put into what teams and locations to hunt in. These groups were practically all around the world from France, Germany to Japan.

(Y/n) was put in the Alpha Squad which was owned by Levi Ackerman. He had earned the title Humanity's Strongest Soldier long ago for his long time work in the agency. His squad had already gained new members due to a vampire outbreak in France, losing all his squadron members. She remembered the tragedy that day. The trees were filled with blood and his comrades were brutally murdered by a blonde male vampire. It was one of those special rare Titan Shifters.
They were an extinct species of vampires or at least everyone thought so until that day. Everyone was informed of it's appearance but it seemed that thing was gone from the very Earth itself.

In the new Alpha Squad were her childhood friends; Eren Yaeger a guy too stubborn and had a bone to pick with Vampires since he's entered the agency. Armin Arlert was a boy with a magnificent mind. He's able to plan things accordingly and wants to learn more about both Titans and the outside world. Mikasa Ackerman a silent male who the higher ups say is a man of hundreds of soldiers in one. Dare she say he wants to protect Eren but with a dark passion.

The outside world for the three was still new to them since they were all tested to become elite soldiers behind walls. Literally. All with the same goal of wiping them from this Earth. After the age of 18, they were granted to leave the facility and be put into the Alpha Squad where they met (Y/n) who had graduated early due to certain circumstances.

Usually, squads were given a place to stay depending on locations. But Levi being Levi, had them set up tents out in the wilderness for an entire week before (Y/n) began pushing him to let them inside the house which he did..after making them sweep the floor outside. Twice.

Later, (Y/n) had lended a few books to Armin who read them to Eren and Mikasa. Although they were the same age as herself she couldn't help but think of them as children. Then again, she was just as curious about the world when she had first stepped out of the facility. Always asking as many questions when she stumbled upon new things unknown to her. At first, Levi found it so annoying but when she asked about cleaning products he actually replied in the nicest way possible which still included swear words.

Everything had seemed to finally settle in.

After about a month, Levi had news for the four.

It was around 7p.m.

(Y/n) had woken up getting into her uniform and preparing something to eat. "(Y/n)? What are you doing?" a familiar voice asked entering the kitchen. Looking up she noticed Armin had woken up.

"Oh, Armin.." she smiled as she placed her pens into her bag. "What are you doing up?"
