^^^Ryder Above - Corentin Huard

The whole day went slow after that rendezvous in principal's office. Whenever I entered my remaining classes according to the schedule, everyone gave me weird looks as if I was an alien and that was getting on my nerves.

The teachers.

They should get a round of applause for breaking the limit of embarrassing a student on their first day of school. They gave me the strangest comments and I was left to hide behind my curtain of wavy hair.

But, I had also gotten to know a bit more about Chris and Kelly, so my day went a tiny weensy bit well. Gregory and Karisma weren't in any of my classes and anyways they were still so shocked for what I did to Ryder, so they didn't say much if we had even met in the hallway after class. Just a wave of their hands was enough.

Soon enough, I was standing in the hot sun on the school's parking lot, awaiting my brother to pick me up. As I was waiting, Ryder was striding confidently towards me. I rolled my eyes.

This kid doesn't get the message, does he?

I didn't want to look at his face or hear his dumb voice, so I turned the other way and almost ran towards the school entrance. There weren't that many students because everyone was already on their way home, except for me due to my brother's lateness.

I looked behind me while I walked in the hallway to see Ryder still following me. I huffed and started to head towards my locker. I needed a place to hide. This guy was getting on my nerves more then any weird comment could. I found my locker and entered the combination swiftly. I knew this was the dumbest idea on earth, but I had to.

I was in no mood to play his games.

The locker was so congested, I was contemplating if I could even get in, but after a few hard try's, I got in and shut the locker door. I could see through the three lined holes and I saw Ryder standing right before my locker looking around. Searching for me.

He ran his hand through his hair and cursed under his breath.

I was having a hard time breathing because of how suffocating this was. I was feeling claustrophobic and I had to get out. What was I even thinking getting in here, knowing fully well I could probably suffocate to death or starve to death. The latter one would be the one I was tensed about. I couldn't die without eating. Food is life.

I moved my hand and something fell on my feet. I bit my lip and tried not to scream at the pain, but still a gasp of pain escaped my traitorous mouth.

I heard some footsteps and they stopped right in front of my locker. I could hear his breathing, could see his stormy eyes, while he couldn't see mine because it was dark in the locker.

"Oh so, strawberry cupcake thought she could hide from me? And in this dumbest way possible? I shall give a round of applause!" He started to clap, his eyes amused. He was right. I was in fact dumb to do this.

I had to get out and the only way to do so was telling Ryder my locker combination.

I groaned. My life couldn't get any worse.

"Ryder!" I said.

"Yes? I know you are in there!" He replied.

"Ryder, I'm suffocating in here! Would you please open my locker?" I requested, hoping he would do so without any trouble.

"Uh huh, but what do I get in return?" He asked seriously.

"Your bloody head!" I muttered, but he heard it as he clicked his tongue at me.
