I looked through my pictures on my camera Carl and I had taken last night. I was still in shock. That man tried to rape him and I just sat there and watched. I just watched. I look over my shoulder and see Carl still sleeping. I couldn't blame him, we had just been through alot. His chest moved up and down at a normal rate. His hair was wet and stringed, his face was red. He was sweating like crazy so I peeled my body off of his and pulled down the covers.

The sun shined bright in my face as I squinted my eyes walking to the bathroom. I failed and ran right into the wall and fell to the floor.

"Damnit." I mumbled under my breath.

I rubbed my temple and opened the bathroom door. I saw something horrid. It was my mother's dead body in my bathtub. Blood streaked down her face and her legs half gone. Her eyes wide open. I turned around and saw a male walker that bit right into my shoulder. I felt no pain. I let out screams and more screams.

"CARL!!!!!! OW!" I felt tears sting in my eyes and they began to swell up.

I felt arms wrap around waist and I fell to the ground, feeling my shoulder. Nothing was gone, nor blood coming out.

"It's okay Molly. I'm here."

I heard running through the hall and saw a frightened Lori and Rick, holding a baseball bat to his right shoulder.

"What's going on?" Rick had a stern voice.

"M- M M" I could only manage to bring that out, pointing my finger to the bathtub.

Rick walked over my legs and looked in the tub, scratching his forehead.

"What Molly?"

I rubbed my eyes and saw nothing in the tub.

"Never- mind."

Carl looked at me curiously.

"What did you see?"

"I saw my mothers dead body, blood everywhere, like she had been violated. Then, I turned to see a walker bite into my shoulder. But then you came, and everything just dissapeared."

"Sounds like your nightmares are becoming stronger." Lori cut into our conversation, her eyes squinted.

"I know, I think they are trying to tell me something."

"Never know. But let's try to go get some more rest." Rick came in.

"Isn't it like 10am?"

"More like 4am." Rick chuckled under his breath.

"Oh well, sorry for waking you."

"It's okay." Carl let out a small smirk and I got up from the dusty tile floor.

Rick and Lori walked out the narrow hallway, probably going back to their room. I brushed my legs of dirt and tears. Carl is glancing out the window.

"What are you looking at?" I look over his shoulder.

"The stars. Aren't they beautiful?"

"yes. I can hardly see them though." I gave a narrow smile and hopped into bed, my face felt like a volcano.

Carl still standing by the window, took a glance at me and went back to "star-gazing".

I stare at his back for a while then my eyes drift off and begin to flutter. I yawned and curled up into a ball.

~
I felt back and forth movement. My body shot up and I noticed I was outside on a porch swing. I feel a hand on my waist and cock my head to the side. I see Carl looking at throbbing sun in the distance, slowly looking at me.

"Morning. I thought you'd want to wake up to something beautiful." A smile crooked on his face.

"You or the sun?" I laughed.

"The sun." He kissed my forehead.

I leaned against his shoulder and swung back and forth in the swing. I stared at the sun, peeking out from behind the trees.

The front door creaks and I see Lori, still in her nightgown and slippers, step out onto the porch.

"I didn't know you guys were sleeping out here."

"We weren't just sun watching." Carl took a quick glance at his mother and looked back to the clouds.

"Alrighty. Your father is making omletes."

Carl looked suprised.

"Dad's home?"

"Yeah, Shane called and said he would take his place, how nice of him." She smiled and walked back into the kitchen.

"Our dream." I managed to say.

"What about our dream?"

"It's coming true."
