~HERMIONE'S POV~

    I step up on the train, bearing a grin I almost run down the train trying to find my friends I'm going so fast that that I almost slam into a wall but I catch myself just then I get a glimpse of bright red hair that could only belong to a Weasley. I peak in the compartment and see my best friends Ginny Weasley, Ron Weasley and of course Harry Potter I slide open the door and walk in only to be engulfed by Ron as soon as he lets go Ginny hugs me. After a while Ginny let's me go and I turn to Harry and give him a hug he seems to have grown they all have but since Harry's always been quite short I notice him the most. I shrink my trunk and put it above us and sit next to Ginny who hugs me again, I love her in a way that I don't love the boys I love them in a brotherly way but Ginny I can talk to about boys and girly stuff that I can't talk about with Harry and Ron because they thought of me as one of the guys. Almost instantly everyone starts asking me a million questions like "what did you do over the summer?!" "Who was your summer?!?" or "where did you stay?"
"Calm down I stayed at my old house alone, I went to the library a lot of the time but I stay at the leaky cauldron and enjoyed diagon alley which was greatly rebuilt!" I say very calmly "So how was your summer?"

"Well Harry and Luna stayed over the at the burrow with us and mum taught Ginny how to magically sew so now Ginny obsessed with that but she's gotten very good she's even started making her own clothes!" Ron explained I looked over at the other to who were starting to blush

"Why was Luna their?" I ask
"Well 'Moine you didn't my owl then me and Luna started dating!" Harry said looking at his feet and his face becoming beat red and without even having to say me and Ginny said "ohh la la" and broke out into giggles.For the rest of the train ride we talked about quiditch but me and Ginny son started our own conversation about her clothing and other gossip stuff that I missed. When we arrived we pull our robes on over what we were wearing, grab our trunks and head straight to the school, wow it was beautiful they rebuilt it. It was like brand new and I heard they redid the common rooms and dorms!

   We all hurry inside and get to our usual seats at Gryffindor table after a feed minutes the sorting ceremony begins we get a good amount of Gryffindors! But the table seems extra crowded since their are a lot more students than usual since many came back to complete seventh year, but at least me and Ginny are in the same year! Mcgonagal begins the years speech as usual but then towards the end something catches my intention " this year since we won the war and all peace has restored to Hogwarts we will be hosting a masquerade  ball! The week of the ball all classes will be cancelled! The ball will take place October 5th, and our very own Ginny Weasley has agreed to make dresses and suits for the ball." She stated and the hall filled with excited whispers and Ginny got encouraging whispers from the Gryffindors " Ginny you didn't tell you knew about the ball!!" I whisper yelled "And your making the dresses too!! Wow Ginny!" As the whispers died down Mcgonagal cleared her throat "One last thing we are introducing some muggle sports to hogwarts these are the sports cross country, track and field, and... Football(British Soccer)" and as if it were planned a muggle born Hufflepuff jumped up on their seat and yelled "OHHHHH LAY OHH LAY OHH LAY!!" And just like that all the other muggle borns jumped up on their seats and joined in on the Brazilian soccer cheer and even I joined in but I stayed in my seat. We had all the pure bloods so confused for a minute before everyone stopped and broke out laughing " Enjoy the feast!" Mcgonagol yelled over noise. After the feast me Harry and Ron wanted to go out and practice at quiditch. Ginny was already tied up with people wanted her to make dresses for them she had one at eight o'clock for a Gryffindor named Taylor she was a fourth year and Ginny only had a hour to get ready as we head out the door mcgonagol stops ups "ladies I have good news for you as you know we redid all the common rooms and sense their are extra students this year you two have your own dorm off of the common rooms it's complete with two bed rooms a living room kitchen and your own private bathrooms the password is destiny it's the red door that has the Gryffindor crest carved into it have a nice day you two!" She said tiredly and she walked away the girls gaped at each other and then ran down the halls to the Gryffindor common room and we basically screamed our password and ran in and we were stunned! As you come in there are light wood floorboards that run through the open floor plane the walls are a nice light gray color that has a hint of lavender and are covered in landscape pictures the kitchen has light white cabinets and marble counter tops and a farm kitchen sink and decent stove and oven, the fridge was a standard white. We walk into the living room but it's not separated it's just open. There are light gray couches and arm chairs that have decorated pillows in shades of gold and red. There's a a bathroom with the standard stuff and an extra room that looks to be for Ginny to make people's dresses in. We travel up the spiral staircase to the second floor we're there are two doors at each end of the hall one engraved with Ginny Weasley and the other with Hermione Granger me and Ginny go into our rooms, mine has a king sized bed with light gray sheets and covers and gold and red pillows the floors are a black hard wood and the walls are light gray. In the corner near my bed is a desk for homework on the other side is a dresser and that's when I notice my trunk has been put in my room I head to the private bathroom it has a large shower and massive tub that looks like a pool it even has two depths, other than that it's pretty standard. I go to check out Ginny's room it's pretty much the same but fitted to her tastes.

    " this is absolutely amazing!" Ginny breathed
      "Ya but we better start getting your sewing stuff together it's currently 7:36 and I don't want you to be late!" I said giving Ginny a little push on the shoulder

     " Ya ok I'll do that" said Ginny her voice almost gone well what can I say she's been rather poor and now she had this all to her self!

Hey I hope you like this it will speed up a little and the ball will be in like 5 chapters and the dramione love will start!!
