Gazing through our eyes they lie
Our trust depletes, our hopes deprived
The chromatic world we know to be
Is black and white and dim and dole,
But deceivingly beautiful images reveal. The hope for fame be brushed away
The man I see, back at me is not the one I want to be
Doing things, I regret to say
Saying things, I regret to speak
Rotating world, always the same
Fame, fortune, dreams, and pain
Is what I want, because why?
Ultimately seeing it through and through. I'm only deprived of one encompassing truth. I want to achieve my inner peace, but my story will soon decease, because; gazing through our eyes they lie.
