William's P.O.V
I used all my strength to open my eyes. I was in a white room. It smelled of bleach and the sound of sirens echoed in my ears.
Grell
I sat up and hissed in pain. I saw my redhead husband later next to me and a sighed seeing he was ok.
"William!" Ronald shouted and ran over to me. The woman was here who helped us as well.
"Are you ok?! How are you feeling?!" He shouted making me cringe.
I took a sip of the water next to me before attempting to talk.
"How's Grell?" Ronald looked away awkwardly.
"I'm fine. Now tell me how's my husband is!" I growled.
"He's in a coma." The woman said in a monotone voice.
"After you passed out the truck was about to explode. He woke up and crawled over to you. He kissed you and the truck exploded. He took most of the blow." Tears streamed down my face. He had twice as many machines around him than me and the sight broke my heart.
A Doctor walked in and his eyes widened when he saw me sat up.
"Mr Spears! You should be resting!" He panicked.
"I can't rest until I know my husband is ok." He nodded his head and asked everyone else to leave the room, they did and his next few words broke my heart.
"I'm sorry to tell you this, but he may never wake up." My eyes widened and I took in a shaky breath.
"Do the others know?" He shook his head, no.
"When can I go home?" He checked his papers.
"You can leave later on today after a check up." I nodded, a mixture of thoughts and emotions overwhelming me. The doctor left and I got out of bed and sat next to my beautiful Grell.
"I love you. I always will. Please forgive me." I kissed his hand before crying myself to sleep, still holding his hand.
-Time skip-
I finished the check up and called Sebastian, asking for a lift back. He told me how he was sorry and before I entered my house Ciel spoke to me for the first time.
"Don't do anything stupid."
